Minifig Sized Ebon Hawk (LDD)
The Ebon Hawk, from KotOR.
About this creation
I have always wanted to build this ship, ever since I played through KotOR the first time and I wanted it to be minifigure sized as well, with a full interior.
I found others who had tried this, but never any that I found to be close enough to the source material, so my endeavor was to try and perfect what others had tried before.
It is around 9300 bricks and 70cm x 80cm (28in x 32in)in size.
These first couple of images are of the outside and I will let them speak for themselves, but further down I will write a little something about the individual rooms.

A shot of the cockpit, with the 4 chairs and command console.

Seen from a different angle, which shows the array of screens from where you choose your destination.

The angled hallway leading away from the cockpit.

The communications room.

From a different angle.

Cockpit + communications.

The security room.

Another angle.

Yet another angle and from here you can see into medical as well.

The sleeping quarters.

Cargo room, complete with canisters.

Engine room.

Garage with swoop bike.

From here you can see the work bench.

Exit ramp open.

The other sleeping compartment.

A view from above, showing all the rooms.

I would very much appreciate criticisms as well as praise, since I myself can see several areas that needs improvement before I decide to buy it. Several pieces needs strengthening as well, since the sheer weight of the thing is enough to break it in half.

I think it might need some changes to the landing gear to support it and you could do what I did to my model which was put clear Lego pieces on the bottom, and I thought I thought it was red but that doesn't matter, altogether looks amazing.

Do you have any idea why LDD doesn't want to generate the buildinginstructions for this amazing ship?
  February 19, 2013
I've just made a few more modifications to it, reduced the piece count to 8603 and adding The KorTOR1 crew minifigs. The old link should be replaced with the new one. (last updated Feb. 19)

I really love it! however, after downloading it i discovered some imperfections with it. mainly the use of smaller bricks and the top surface of the ship. Using small bricks causes problems with it's design, and if made into an actual model would cause loss of structure stability. I also attached the cargo bins to the floor(in an easily removable fashion), changed the colour scheme to match better, greatly reduced the pieces used for the engine glow(seriously, it was almost 50 or so, now it's only 6), made some small modifications to the Swoop bike, and added a Revan-like minifig. I reduced the total amount of bricks to 8800 with my changes. Not much but less pieces is better in my book. And it looks more like a standard Lego product, having only flat pieces where applicable(size of entire/most area fits brick). here is the modifications if you want to see it: http://www.mediafire.com/?azttc1egnrnmh82

Quoting Michael Miller This is a masterpiece, pure and simple. And I can not thank you enough for providing the file. You, sir, are incredible.
It is my sincerest hope that someone will eventually build it using real bricks, and the easiest way to do such, is to provide people with the LDD file.

Quoting michael smith i agree with the ldd file please upload it soon
I finally got the internet promised to me almost a month ago, so here is the file. There are probably a ton of small things that need to be fixed, but the overall shape is as it should be.

Quoting Bradley Becker This is absolutely incredible! Please Please PLEASE upload the LDD file soon!! I am a huge KOTOR fan and this is amazingly accurate! I will be attempting to build this as soon as you upload the file. Sir, you have my utmost respect and awe.
I have been in the process of moving these past couple of weeks and there has been a complete lack of internet because of this. That has now been rectified and I will upload the LDD file sooner rather than later. It should be up before weeks end.

Quoting Nathan G. More than amazing! Will you upload the LDD file? I wouldn't mind buying this thing myself.
I am currently in the process of making it better, since I found out that I had inadvertently reversed the color scheme on the engines. I am also adding strengthening beams to reinforce it, but I might just add the LDD file once I am satisfied with it.

Quoting Shawn Purkis Wow, amazing job. When I clicked on this I wasn't expecting this to be mini fig scale with a fully detailed interior.
I actually build the interior first, as a trial in curved walls, but then decided to add the exterior afterwards. I then found out that the two does not match up completely ingame for some reason.

Quoting IMPERIAL FLEET Wow this is as accurate as it gets! I have played both KOTOR games and this looks just like it. You did an amazing job. I would love to see a real one.
That means a lot coming from someone such as yourself, who builds the most impeccable ships.

Quoting Thomas Z. HOLY....That's the most accurate Ebon Hawk I've ever seen! Awesome job!
Before you edited your comment you asked about the number of bricks and they are currently at 9326, but I will probably add 100 more to strengthen it, since I am not sure that it will be able to hold together too well if build in real life.

Quoting Areetsa C Very nice. Be better with real bricks, though.
That indeed it would, but as I happen to be a poor student, it will be quite some time before I have the capital necessary to buy it.
