STRANGE but TRUE!
UPDATED: Monday, January 30, 2012 keeping up with the strange but true a Lego builder brought his Lego McDonald's items to McDonalds as I brought mine to the feast! Once again I had LEGO ESP as Lego friends cam e out with a dog house very similar to mine in color and the dog bowl! And once more my LESP went to work with the series 7 collectibles: The Mer-King like mine and his soldier and the white rabbit! As I said: STRANGE BUT TRUE! UPDATED: Sunday, September 25, 2011 as I was doing research for the LEGO® project I speak about in my bio I came across these for you to see.UPDATE: September, 24, 2011 pool time!UPDATE: September 21, 2011 - the lady from Spain! UPDATE: July 8, 2011 LEGO ®'s a major part of FINE ART! UPDATED: June 2, 2011, Today I found this and it reminded me of a picture I took! STRANGE but TRUE! This is not a moc! But it's so interesting. And it in itself becomes a great learning tool. A way to get our imagination juices flowing! I do a lot of research as you know berfore I undertake building my MOCs! Well I was on e-bay and saw this MOC for sale so I copied and pasted it! Then today I came across this news article on my Windows Live screen! STRANGE BUT TRUE is this art imatating life or LEGO imating it? It was so oustanding I wanted to share it with you! ENJOY!IN
About this creation

For one year I will honor, remember and respect the victims of 9-11. Each of my creations will have a 9-11 memorial starting off the page. I'd like to give a big handshake, hug, kiss to all the people here on MOCpages that remembered by creating WORLD TRADE CENTER buildings done in LEGO you too honor the fallen of 9-11 GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!

from a FLIKR ACOUNT: "A Man on a Bench"

from my 2009 Florida Pictures: " Nick on a Bench" - Disney/MGM Studios

Super-sized LEGOŽ Bricks were used in this and the next two pictures they were part of the Cannes International Advertising Festival in 2006 and won a SILVER LION for their effort! This is the Fire House with red bricks spilling out.

...and this is a hanger storing & protecting precious yellow bricks...

...and the train station with green bricks...they will have to call get them removed or the train will C R A S H into them!

This and the next two are from: g ban's world on the net (there are more please visit his site!)

another one from: g ban's world

the third one from: g ban's world

Keeping with the theme Lego Taken OUTDOORS into "THE REAL WORLD" going these thre are from: SNEED DESIGN - they were part of a presentation on store posters using LEGOŽ "IN THE REAL WORLD" that were accepted and used!

One more:

And finally the 3rd one - visit his site, please.

Now my own 'LEGOŽ IN THE REAL WORLD" as you know in my neighborhood (in fact on my block - right outside my door!) so I took 3 of my "FEAST" Sets outside to the booths that inspired them!
Heres one for you to see (again).

The second:

...and the third. Like I said do I have LSP? It's great to see GREAT MINDS think alike!

O.K. Moc pagers here is another sneak-peek that once again shows you I have LSP LegoŽ Sensory Preception! This swimming pool was designed and photographed way before the new 2012 FRIENDS (tm) line was leaked out! Note in Emma's Pool the stairs that lead to the pool (just like mine). Then note...

The lady fanning herself on the "chaise lounge" just like EMMA'S!
Then look at...

The umbrella - right down to the 1x1 round plate on top of it! Look at the plant and compare it to my plants - same idea! and of course the blue color!
My figure has an ICE POP Emma has an Ice Cream Cone!

So what do you think? LSP? And which "pool scene" do you like better (lol) BE HONEST!

This was my reference picture for one of my WORLD PEOPLES MOCpages.

I called her 'LADY OF SPAIN' after the song. Note she has a fan just like in the art piece above and a red dress with bare arms also she has brown hair!

Now the "STRANGE BUT TRUE" part, (this is a spoiler) this is a picture of Lego Collectible Minifigures Series 6 ... a Spanish woman, red armless dress and fan! I had no way of knowing this, especially since she was just revealed! Only 10 figures leaked out she was NOT one of them!
ESP or Lego Sensory Perception? LSP --- up to you to decide!

While looking at a MOCpager's BRICKWORLD Convention pictures I stumbled across this, it's one of my favorite paintings in THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART in NYC.

This is the official internet picture of it!

This is my photo of the explaination of Demuth's work!
And includes a lovely poem!

...and this is my picture of it! If you stare at it for a while I bet you can hear the fire engines roar!

Another "strange but true" entry: Framed! As you know I designed this picture frame and it has gotten great reviews!

Then while doing research I came across a DUTCH Store that had a treasure trove of sets we in the United States have NEVER seen! And wham...LEGOŽ had a fireman frame in the late 1990s!I thought you's enjoy this one!

I also thought it strange when I went to DISNEY in 2009 with my 2 year old elder cousin PAUL I took a picure of a tourist family walking their dogs of course doe in LEGOŽ. It was right outside the in Disney Shoppers Village! So I went to do research and when I googledŽ it I pulled up James Kontoules MOCpages work! So this is a double strange because I took the shot never knowing who SEAN KENNEY was (let alone he did it) nor MOCpages and now James and I have the same shot - mine night and his day! And here is a link to James' MOCpages (click on James' name and you are there!)

Just some LEGOŽ tourists and Me!

A close-up of thier dogs! And it appears in a MOCpage group as well! The DOG and LEGO lovers group

My statue of St. Anthony Abbot for my series inItalian-American Feasts is seen here. When I did it and named him I made sure there was no feast done in real life for him! Then today on my way to church I passed one of the Italian Bakeries in my neighborhood and what caught my eye ...

...BUT this a poster in Italian announcing the FEAST OF ST. ABBOT (S. ANTONIO ABATE) figure, hardly anyone I spoke to never heard of it before!
He's such an obsecure saint - incredible!
And it's only 30 minutes away from me in Astoria!
And Astoria boarders Long Island City where Sean Kenney's studio is!

I think after a hard day in the cosmos even BOBA FETT deserves a HUG!

And on 14th Street/Union Square there are people out there to make sure you get one!

...and I made sure I DID!!!

This was a story about a man who is struggling to save a stretch of America's famous Route 66 ! To read about it follow this link: interesting story and he's 84!
Note the colors and the details...now get ready to compare the LEGOŽ version I found on e-bayŽ canny?

Now of course I carefully chose the title picture bit look at the e-bayŽ version and the Window's Live version the ideas are so much alike it was so STRANGE to see on my desk top today! Being a retired teacher this presented a good way to teach the younger MOCpage fans and augment the 'idea bank' for the older ones! If you'd like me to do this from time to time tell me!

Frank, I am trying to learn html language as you noticed this and my home page now have many special effects, It takes a long time and you need to test it out each step of the way! I was working on all the color, size, boldness, italics, and links from 1:00p.m. yesterday till 3:33a.m. this morning! So I stop by once or twice a week! Sean suggested if we want to communicate more and in private we start a group where we are the ONLY members. Then and there we an exchange emails and pone numbers - then close the group! he said that's what some memberd do! So up to you mon ami de Montreal! i don t find it worth to comment if you don t care about them...
