Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
I made this for Hot Rod's Classic Car Contest. The Silver Shadow is a luxury car that was produced in Great Britain from 1965 to 1980. This is based on a late 60s early 70s model. Hi Hot Rod, I didn't have a lot of time to build this so I made it a fun quick moc rather than a large detailed one. I hope it will make you smile :)

Nice work! I really like the front, very close to the original. Have you considered making the build a stretch-limo? That would look cool! I agree with the other commentators by the way, brilliant use of that award-piece :-)

Quoting Zbigniew Marek Cool! The moment I saw this statuette in one of the minifig sets, I thought about using it for Rolls. But you were first ;)
Thanks :). That should not stop you from using it. I try and use it in as many of my creations as poss - I love it. :)

An amazing MOC, nice toch on that hood ordiment. With a few modifications you could make this minifig scale. My favorate part are the doors, it took me a while to fugure out how you made them, really nice! Great Job!

One rarely sees four fully-working doors on a car of this size (at least I haven't). That trophy was the finishing touch.

Really nice again, I love the use of the trophy on the bonnet and all the interior detail. My oldest boy is just getting into Lego too so I share your enjoyment of that particular parental duty!

Quoting Lego Builder If you want to make smaller lights, try using binoculars.
That would be a much better solution thanks for the tip :) I will try it on my next moc of this scale.

Quoting Hot Rod Love the little guy on the grill, seats (and the color of the interior), and the fact the driver is on the left! :)
Thanks Hot Rod. I only had time for a quick fun moc. Glad you like it :)

Looks boxy and the lights looks to big so the grill is too small. Nice build but I'll have to give you 3/5.

So this is the car you were working on during Monaco's Grand Prix. It's more difficult to build accurate models on smaller scale, but due to the well designed front this is unmistakably a Rolls!

Cool Roller! Love the front and the microfig as the silver lego lady! The 4 doors are clever, but I think you might have been a bit distracted when it came to the back ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone. I did make this during the race - apparently it was really exciting!! Haha;) This is my first moc at this scale and it was great fun to build. I might try another soon. Ape fight i appreciate your honesty it isn't my best. :)

The front is great, the side and back less so. Not bad but i don't think it's as good as some of your other stuff. An honest opinion is better than blowing sunshine I think. 3/5

Right on...Nice car...I read over at Nathanael's recent alternate that you built this while watching the F1 race in Monaco...Button had a good day, getting on the podium, but the day belonged to Vettel. I am waiting for both Ferrari and McLaren to figure it out this year and challenge Red Bull...I guess we'll have to wait for the race in Canada. Cheers!
