And now ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the 2011 MOCie Awards red... err... green carpet!
Kelso: "Alright Chris, now that you've got us here would you like to share why we're all at Big Al's Putt Putt and Bowlarama?"
Chris: "All in good time my friend. Let's all play a round first and get a feel for the place."
Leda: "Usually Chris takes us to much classier places for his little get togethers. Hey, where'd Kaleta go?"
Parrington: "He's over there hiding in the bushes."
Kaleta: "I am Batman."
Ocean: "This place creeps me out man. Did you hear what happened here on the news?"
Bones: "That was never proven in a court of law... and I swear I was no where NEAR here when it happened..."
Dennis Price: "Whatever he's trying to spring on us better be good. That's all I'm saying."
Heath: "He does realize we are carrying clubs right?"
Matt David: "I like pudding."
Kelso: "Alright dude, what's the big secret? Why did you bring us here?"
Chris: "Dude, just relax. Have some fun. You're too tense... did you forget to sniff your paints again this morning?"
Narrator: And so the AFOLs played their minigolf, all the time wondering what Chris had up his sleve.
Heath: "Alright Phipson, time to talk. What in hades are we doing here?"
Chris: "Let's all go back up to the front and I'll explain everything."
Chris: "Ok, we all played a round. How was it? Everyone have a good time? Nice place right?"
Everyone: "GET ON WITH IT!"
Chris: "Ok, ok. Everyone, this is Big Al, owner of Big Al's Putt Putt and bowlarama. He's been gracious enough to allow us to hold the MOCie Awards here this year! Isn't that great news?!!?"
Kelso: "WHAT?"
Bones: "Are you flipping KIDDING me?"
Parrington: "We're going to have the MOCie Awards HERE? At a freakin Putt Putt?"
Chris: "No, not at the Putt Putt, this is just the preshow. We're going to have the awards show at the bowling alley across the street."
Kaleta: "I am Batman."
Kelso: "And just WHY are we doing this at a bowlarama instead of a nice, classy joint like every other year?"
Chris: "Well... there's been some budgetary cutbacks and with the recession and all..."
Kelso: "In other words, you cheaped out?"
Chris: "Bingo."
Heath: "WAAAAIT a second here... is there going to be booze and food like last year at least?"
Chris: "Well, not EXACTLY like last year. No champagne or shrimp cocktails... but we do have beer and a midget with a nacho sombrero."
Heath: "Well ok then, why didn't you just say so?"
Kelso: "Let's get this party started!"
Chris: "You heard em folks! Come on over to the 2011 MOCie Awards group and let's get this thing started! We're in the nomination phase right now through the end of June then voting takes place in July! Remember, your votes determine the winners in this annual MOCpages event! We'll see you there!
Kelso: "Chris... you do realize where this golf club is going as soon as that camera turns off from it's overhead pan right?"
Chris: "**Sigh**... yes... yes I do."

I cannot imagine a better place than a bowlarama for the MOCie Awards, especially when there's a midget with a nacho sombrero. Excellent work on the put put. Similar to Bart, I went through the story and suddenly realised the beauty of the miniature golf course. |
