PNR's lone EMD SD60M, proved the fact to PNR, that a North American Safety Cab locomotive was better for the cold winter conditions that PNR faces. The EMD SD60M was produced from Jan 1989 - June 1996. The 3800bhp unit rides on a 71 foot, 2 inch chassis, and has 2 cab designs, one with 3 windows across the front (modeled here), & the newer models with the Re designed EMD 2 window North American Safety Cab. PNR's SD60M is useing in fast freights & intermodal service.
