Following two years of service, I decided to retire my old art-deco train station in favor of this far superior Tudor-revival structure. It is based loosely on Whitefish, Montana's famous rail depot.
About this creation
As always, I decided to include a trackside-view picture. In this one, we are facing south.
The station's rail-facing side features a small number of key details. These include a drainpipe, ticket machine, and exterior AC unit.
This poorly-lit picture shows the station's street-facing side. I hope to completely rebuild the stairwell in the coming weeks.
Lastly, we have a panoramic picture of Westwood City. It may not look like it, but I am in the process of completely overhauling the downtown area. I will post an update (likely under the title "Westwood City 3.0") in a couple of weeks.
If you want a few higher-resolution pictures of the town (and station), feel free to visit my Flickr profile at http://www.flickr.com/photos/kgram726/.
As always, thanks for visiting this page! Comments are always appreciated.
