On June 6th 1944, D-day happened. Many young lives were lost. I honor this day as a day to respect the men who died to save the planet. Enjoy.
About this creation
Man with umbrella: I'm so sorry ma'am. However your son died honorably to help us gain our foothold in Europe to liberate the continent.
Soldier: He was a good man. I trained with him and we helped each other along.
Mom: *cries uncontrollably* He was such a nice boy! *sob* I should have of stopped him from the war.
Dad: *sniff sniff* It's going to be sad not hearing his nice voice.
The Characters from left to right. The son, me (Corporal B.T.A.), boy (Robert), Mom, Dad, and U.S. government coroner. On to the details of this moc.
This is my first ever car I've built from scratch. Like it?
I intended for it to hold two people, but once I was half way, I realized only one would be able to fit.
I like the black and white contrast.
This is the back. I find that lego wheels either always are too small, or stick out to much.
It's a government vehicle.
The bland underside.
Now to the house.
The rugged half paved half cobblestone drive-way.
The lawn, porch, and flower bed.
Practically the same picture, just blurrier, but with a better view of the door. The door is really last second. I was building, then when I finished I was doing an overview and saw a huge gap. So I made this excuse for a door.
The whole thing. I like it.
The table with the family pictures of the sons and a hat stand.
The curtains, chair, and shotgun that were in the background.
The table with two glasses, an apple, a banana, and a radio.
The upstairs master bedroom. It has a little bed side table and a king sized bed.
A family picture nicely framed.
A water collector barrel. The name says it all.
Radio: And today, June 6th, 1944, the allies have successfully taken several beaches along Normandy in a daring attack. However many young lives were lost.
We remember the men and women who served our country during this war filled time.
