The Dana class destroyer, is a large conventionally-powered warship, currently operated by the LEGO Empire. Its primary role is to attack enemy warships while also providing sea and air defense for warships and transports under escort.
A total of 50 destroyers were built for the Imperial Lego Navy.

The ship is outfitted with the D.D.N. anti-ship missile system with eight two-cell launchers installed port and starboard of the forward island and set at an angle about 15°. The ship carries a total of 16 D.D.N. MK-3A2 missiles; the missile is a long-range sea-skimming missile with velocity of Mach 4, armed with a 1000 kg high-explosive or a nuclear 200 kt warhead. The range is from 10 to 4000 km. The launch weight is 5,500 kg.

Yes, it´s a little modified Kashtan CIWS. The Kashtan has only 8 ready to fire missiles. My Walston CIWS has 30 short range high speed missiles. Hope you like it ^^

It looks like this was inspired by Soviet and Russian warships, and certainly shares the powerful, aggressive look with all of the weapons everywhere. The Walston CIWS reminds be a lot of the Russian Kashtan CIWS.

I like to think that any new ship made by me is an improvement compared to the previous one. The next ship will have a different and better hull as well as new guns and missiles.
