Bioshock's Big Daddy
A tiny teaser from the Rapture MOC I'm bringing to Brickworld 2011 next week. Let's just say, in keeping with this year's theme of "5" - the Big Daddy will feature prominently.

Quoting silly productions All of your creations are amazing, you are truely a talented builder! I am really into bioshock lately and you have the best bioshock creations by far! I would really love too see a scaled up version of the big daddy though:) im sure or would be so amazing, your songbird is jaw dropping!
Thanks. :) I'm always working on something Bioshock related - if not in brick, then in my head. A scaled up Big Daddy could be cool. The Songbird is a work in progress. I keep tweaking it. Thanks for the enthusiasm. :D

Quoting Connor Quinn bravo! this creation is perfect. you have really portrayed the big daddy well. its got all of the detail, even the valve on its back! i also like the lil sis you have beside him. i also like the lights, and the way you made the face. i really think you could do a fantastic big sister too! 10/10
Thanks! And Hahaha...I couldn't figure out how to do a Rosie after this, but I guess I could try to do a Big Sister sometime... but they are so skinny and spindly. Not sure how I'd go about doing that minifig scale. If I manage it, you'll see it here. :)

Quoting Jonathan Rogers Epic! It's normally dificult to make such a detailed character Minifig scale but this is perfect. What is the brick that you have used as the drillbit?
Thanks! That piece would be a unicorn horn. They make them in pearl silver and pearl gold.

Quoting corey lopez FINALY! This is perfect. I'm glad to see a big daddy that's actually minifig scale and still looks good. A cool moc of one of the most brutal and morbid game.
Thanks...yeah I looked at some other Big Daddy references when I tried this and none of the ones I found looked quite right, plus I like to be purist in my builds, so this took some time, but I'm pretty happy. So thanks!

Quoting The Green Hood Oh Please! Oh Please! Could I have the instructions for this?
"I came to this place to build the impossible. You came to rob what you could never build - a Hun gaping at the gates of Rome. Even the air you breathe is sponged from my account. Well... breathe deep, so later you might remember the taste." < Quote from Bioshock's Andrew Ryan. He..he...he...

Quoting Matt Mason I feel sorry for any minifig that ends up in the way of this Big Daddy... Do you have any Rosies?
Funny thing... I couldn't figure out how to make a Rosie minifig scale... it seems like it should be easy after the Bouncer, but it's not.. 'cause this one is slightly larger than it should be, but it looks okay 'cause they look menacing in the game, but a Rosie, I'd have to make it look minifig scale, but not too small or too big by comparison...so I just haven't worked it out yet.
