..."even her bathtub has stretch-marks". That might be the best line of the contest. Way to bring the Metal Archon, as others have said, the jungle is lookin' pretty good! Best of luck in the (soon to be over) contest!
One of the difficult challenges regards the camera and the way the focus of digital cameras tends to work. I kept losing focus on the foreground figures. If I ever build something similar, instead of staging the figs on the front edge like in a stage setting I will center the action in the middle of the base plate to work with the camera rather than challenge the way it automatically "reads" the depth of a vig setting. I also will be more understanding of the blurry foreground than before I made this attempt.
Thanks all...for me this was a challenge I embraced just to make the attempt. I like to try new things and try to do things outside my skill set just to see if I can do it. It may not be done well or perfect but I will make the attempt if for no other reason than to stretch myself. This was a definite stretch as I have never done an outdoor scene before, nor have I tried to do a comic. I almost always have built space craft and futuristic ground craft but not anything at all like this. It was fun.
"So back in Kentucky, there was this huge..." What? Huge what? Militia mission: Capture officer. Check. I would like to have seen more of your previously posted Militia in on the action, but the twins thing was too classic. "Your mama and my mama are the same woman, so enough!" That's quality narrative! Another Metal Victory! Man, the Militias are cleaning house in ALLOY STRIKE! Again, great stuff! Build! Post! Review! Attack!
That's one cool comic. Twins rule! And... there's he who shall not be named - Voldemort (whoops). Everything looks cool, but using that double face was bad idea. Good luck in the contest. I'm going to have some BIG competition... :|
