The Lockheed Vega 5B is most famously recognized as the plane Amelia Earhart flew when she became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. It is now displayed inside the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. This plane is modeled after the Vega and features a rotatable propeller and adjustable rear flaps. This is at a smaller scale than one suited for minifigures, since the Vega 5B is designed to carry six people.
We sell complete kits of this model at www.ichibantoys.com. The kit includes all of the brand-new official LEGOŽ parts needed packaged in polybags, plus a full-colour instruction ebook on CD.
That's a beautiful model plane. I like the smooth design a lot! But I'm sorry, it's never worth $199, not for 183 parts. The 10220 Camper Van has 1332 parts for $119 including instructions for more than 100 steps. Anyway, the model is great! :-))
Very nice, I think it misses some color accents, as it is now it's just plain red, I don't know the real thing though so you might have done that on purpose. Still, would look cooler with some stripes on it. Good job
