The Ice Mantis, LukeClarenceVan's newest starship. It is a Rendili StarDrive prototype with an advanced shield lattice energy dissipater covering the hull. Armed with two short-range laser cannons and two powerful long-range ion cannons the Ice Mantis is not suitable for long confrontations and flees if threatened. Its sub light engines are sluggish but hyper-space is an incredibly speedy class 1. This may not seem like much, but hyper drives were a lot slower 2000 BBY. The ship is best for long voyages with its large interior and LukeClarenceVan often uses it on diplomatic missions.
About this creation

An overhead view of the Mantis

The five engines

The entry hatch’s mechanism, also view the smooth shield lattice

You can see the shield lattice here as well as the ion cannon mounted on the side

The hatch opens…

…And reveals LukeClarenceVan!

He levitates on a compact repulsorlift that allows the crew to exit and enter the hatch, as it is difficult to jump ten feet onto the roof. The unconventional placement of the hatch also deters thieves.

The repulsorlift can adjust its height to the terrain

The interior of the ship

LukeClarenceVan at the helm

The compact repulsorlift is stored here, Tavaria watches life support and other non-combat systems, and V6 K0 observes the long-range sensors and comm system.

The galley, also includes a storage container at the edge by the window

The table with ultra-modern lamp

The engine room

A side view of the engine, also shows the tool bench

The sink, stove/grill, plates behind force-field, glasses and more plates

A better view of V6 K0 manning the sensors and comm, notice the high tech holo-comm

The armory, complete with grenades, shatter-rifle, sniper rifle, Tavaria’s heavy blaster rifle, vibro-axe, vibro-blades, needle-beamer, ion blaster, blaster pistol, electro-binoculars, and LukeClarenceVan’s disguise kit. (No one would ever recognize him with a wig).

Close-up of the engine

The force-field lowers to allow access to plates

LukeClarenceVan stows his lightsabers in a food storage drawer, no officials would search there!

He stores a krayt dragon tooth and a durindfire gem in the other drawer

The bed folds down

Close-up of the disguise kit

Overhead view of the cooking appliance

V6 K0 fries something up, what it is, no one knows.

LukeClarenceVan and Tavaria wait for their meal, notice their hover-chairs

And for those of you who read this MOC to the end, I reward you with this rare shot of LukeClarenceVan in his disguise kit

very interesting character development! i like your structured organisation, your ship is very reminiscent of the LIU corp, white and blocky, but, with beautiful and realistic interiors, are you sure you did nt steal their blueprints...? lol! |

It does look a bit boxy, but that hides how big the ship is. I was surprised at all the interior details. Love the disguise kit!
Thanks, I've been working on a starfighter that will be quite a bit sleeker and have a much larger engine! |

nicce interior! and the exterior looks good, too, but it looks quite unrealistic because you've got only walls with little engines. there's room for improvement! |

nice, the interior has some neat features. (come check out my Hundsgugel Castle if you have time) |

Good job, I like the interior. My only suggestion on how to improve is to make it more streamlined, its kinda boxy. |

The detailed interior is very nice, but I would try and make the engines a little bit bigger.
