In the spirit of the story of G.A.I.A., and with Parrington Levens' blessing, I start this 4th chapter, and the fireworks, thus.
About this creation
Last known transmission from the Defiant Justice:
--To Vice-Admiral Kurt Helstrom of the Death-Bridge.
Sir, our situation is becoming critical. Our intel station has tracked four tachyon emission anomalies. We don't know what to make of it, but there have been momentary sightings of objects of considerable mass, each the size of a destroyer. I have reason to believe that whatever these things are, they're stalking us, waiting for an opportunity to strike. I have my pilots on alert, but we can't fight something we can't see. I have recommended the same to the Daphne.
As for the patient, we have failed to retreive any more information from her, though she asks a lot of questions. I wonder who is interrogating who. I am thinking we may have to use more presuasive methods to conv....
Signal Lost.... --

"Command, this is Eye-3. Mass Radar has picked up a medium size Zeshran raid fleet. They're bearing straight down on the two unknowns. Please advise."
"Continue monitoring the situation, Eye-3. A expeditionary group will be arriving ASAP on site to deal with the situation."
"Copy that Command. I am continuing the data relay."

Daphne:
"Sir, we have unknown contacts to our port side, and one of them is showing massive energy readings!"
"Why didn't you see them sooner?!"
"Unknown sir! They must've had some sort of jammer or cloak! Energy signiture determines its a weapon charging!"
"Evade! And get the fighter crews to their stations!"

Daphne:
"No time sir! They're firing!"
Heavy Impact as the beam cuts all the way through the Daphne.
"Sir! The hangar's been hit! No chance to launch fighters!"
"Defiant Justice, this is the Daphne. Take the data and get out of here! Our fighters are out of commission. This is a priority directive!"

Zeshran Techs:
"All fighters, prepare for launch. All ships, set your sights on the larger of the two ships, it is the biggest threat. Surround it and prevent its escape."
The following pictures were taken from the Defiant Justice as it withdrew under orders.

Daphne:
"Engines hit sir! We're dead in the water!"
"Sir, we have multiple hull breaches across the board. Damage to 58%"
"All hands, we are now going to lock down mode! It's been an honor serving with you, and good luck! Lt, activate the emergency beacon!"

Zeshran Techs:
"All ships, threat nuetralized. Turn your attention to the smaller craft. Capture it intact if possible. We'll bring command a good prize today!"

"Command, this is Eye-3. What is your ETA?"
"We'll be on site in 35. What's the situation?"
"The larger unknown has been destroyed, the smaller is fleeing. Recommend a med-evac fleet ASAP to search for survivors."
"Copy that. We'll pass it along."

Nice work on this, Dude! The explosion seen from the window was an especially cool effect. I see you deleted the spammer's comment.
Thanks, I was really satisfied with how the effects turned out on these. And as for the spammer, yes, I hate it when they do that. Can't abide it. |

Are the Zeshran human? And if so, what the frak are they doing? lol! Don't they know we are at war with aliens! hehe, great build, and I suspect that survivor chik was a spy that got the Daphne killed... Dude, a real fun Moc, love those FX, was great to see the Daphne get some more action, even if its last dance hehe, great work Jase!
Yeah, they're human. Since the Corporate Territories haven't had contact with any other places in such a long time. And they literally know nothing about the Draggonne, but they do know about the Sasketan, but they seem to have their own territory that they keep. Now that they are contacting the progenitor worlds, the area of space that they call G.A.I.A. things are going to change. But Zeshran just has a bad attitude about everything lately, considering their current state. As for the girl, not directly, though the Zeshran would love to get their hands on her. |
