This mosaic was created for a bank in Richmond, Virginia. I got the idea when I made a withdrawal one day and they fanned out the bills as they handed them to me.
I quickly changed the withdrawal to include "the cleanest, crispest dollars of every denomination you have." I got a strange look, but the teller assured me that it wasn't the strangest thing he's ever heard from an artist wanting to do something with his money.
