Captain Scarlet's Bison Moon Rover
Captain Scarlet's red Bison Moon Rover from the "New Captain Scarlet" episode "Duel".
About this creation
BISON SPACE ROVER
from the Gerry Anderson TV show: New Captain Scarlet

The Bison vehicle is a space exploration rover used in several episodes of the show, either on Mars or on the Moon surface.

Its power train consists of tracks and wheels which ensures that the rover can tackle any kind of terrain.

There are three mostly identical versions in the show: A metallic one used in the pilot episode "Instrument of Destruction" on Mars and the more colourfull ones used on the Moon.

My intention was to recreate the two battling Bisons, featured in the episode "Duel" of the second season. The red one is finished, the yellow one currently under construction.

Both models feature: 6 independently suspended main wheels, 4 working track/wheel assemblies, detailed cockpit, rotatable and positionable rocket launchers, which can be elevated from the main body of the vehicle by turning a gear on the rear of the vehicle (below thrusters).

I really like the style you seem to have with your MOC's. I think I prefer the tank just a bit over this one, and I would agree with Pierre on the windshield... NEVERTHELESS, another excellent model! Check out my home page for links to some fantastic MOC's with the no-studs approach. Meanwhile, great job once again!!
