Operation Shock-Strike Phase 2 for my group 'The Insurrection'. As with all my Halo MOCs, see if you can find the hidden skull.
About this creation
Dialogue that corresponds to the picture can be found underneath.

Operation Shock-Strike Phase 2 has begun; UNSC troops must breach the wall of an Insurrectionist base in one of the jungles of Jericho VII. The assault is behind schedule; the convoy is bogged down in the rocks (of which there are many around the base walls perimeter), and the soldiers have taken numerous casualties. The Insurrectionists here are well trained and are using artillery to cut down the UNSC units that are around.
On a joint mission to breach the wall ODST Team Foxtrot and members of Juliet Company are preparing to set up C4 charges on the wall. Soul Catcher (Foxtrotís Artificial Intelligence unit) has located a suitable location to set charges.

Soul Catcher- This area is fine sir.
Captain Mickle- Roger that. Collins, get over here.

*There were two Innies (Insurrectionists) set up on the wall, firing at the troopers below. Fortunately, they had taken cover.*

Mickle- Once my team mops up those innies we are clear to go blow that wall.

Collins- Roger that.

*A Marine from Juliet company advanced to Foxtrotís position only to get shot in the arm by one of the innies on the wall.*

Marine- Agh, medic!
Mickle- Madelyn, see what you can do.

*She went to the fallen marine and opened her medical kit.*

Mickle- Jackson, what do you got?

Jackson- I just see those two on the wall. There may be more but I canít see them even with thermal optics.

*Commy fired his specialized Battle Rifle, two bullets from the burst hit the innie.*

Commy- Now or never Captain.

Mickle- Alright Collins, letís go!

*Mickle and Collins charged at the wall. The innie on top fired a few shots, none of them hit a target.*

*Collins fired blindly; surprisingly, his opponent got hit.*

Mickle- Go ahead.

*Collins placed a charge on the wall.*

Collins- Timer set, letís go.

*Mickle and Collins ran back to safety, the timer chimed off a few seconds.*

*Everyone made sure they were safe from the incoming blast.*

*The charge went off, heat washed over the team and the ground shook with the detonation.*

*The wall now had a reasonably sized hole, large enough for infantry to move through it with ease.*

Mickle- We have our opening. Itís time for phase three, takeover of this base.
Team Foxtrot- Yessir!
Collins- Iíll rally my troops and follow you in.
Mickle- Get to it troopers!

//Fourth Wall Commentary//

The full build. It took about two and a half hours to make, the detonated wall took about 5 minutes to Ďreviseí. Based on what Iíve read in the Halo books, Jericho VII is a jungle planet. So I assigned the missions based on that.
The area is void of tall vegetation so the sentries have a clear line of sight, but after 30 meters is goes back to dense jungle life. This area has a lot of rocks, the innies use this to their advantage because the rocks can stop tanks and other armoured craft.

A view from the left.

Looking through the hole in the wall.

View from the right.

Aerial.

These are a type of flower, native to the planet.

Rocks that double as vehicle traps.

Thanks for viewing; if you came this far, and are interested, consider joining The Insurrection. We are happy to see new, active recruits.

I like the patterns on the wall and the destroyed one, it's the bast part of the build. As for the landscaping, I would use a bit more plates and less bricks. Do you have any?

All of my grey plates are in other things and I have only ten or so green plates, also in use.

Again, great build for the mission. I especially like the hole in the wall at the end, and the various rocks. Hopefully, I can build this mission, but I'm still working on it very slowly...

Nice work! The skull was an easy find, it's marked by two floral beacons.
