This trans Lego stained glass mosaic, measuring 18x48", is based on an original stained glass sundial by John Carmichael, sundial maker and member of The British and North American Sundial Societies.

This trans Lego stained glass mosaic, measuring 18x48", is based on an original stained glass sundial by John Carmichael, sundial maker and member of The British and North American Sundial Societies.

The cheese wedge details along the edges are done in the style of fellow Lego mosaicist Katie Walker (eilonwy77)

This panel was first exhibited at Brickworld 2011 in Wheeling, Illinois.

Seeing this in person was a real treat and I loved how you had it placed in front of the window so the sunlight could filter through. It was incredibly beautiful and I can't wait to see what you have in store for 2012. :-)
