This is what came out when I wanted to find a use for those big long brown curved slope pieces that came with the Slave I set.
About this creation
I'm too tired to give you the full rant now, but here's the gist: MOCpages won't let me post the creation I want, I can only seem to post the ones I don't think as much of. So, having successfully lowered your expectations, on with the show...

Piloted/driven (which would be correct?) by an old UFO minifig. I still love those UFOliens, they have the coolest helmets.

I would have loved a background the walker could be camouflaged against, but I only have so much brown and tan. I know BURPs and LURPs come in brown because I have some, but if they come in tan, I certainly can't afford to order that many.

I imagine this guy lurking in some hilly desert terrain waiting to fire its missiles, and hoping like hell it hit its target -- it has no defensive capabilities to speak of, and can't be that fast.

Bit of a cleaner shot without the cluttered background.

It wouldn't be the most practical instrument of war, but I thought it looked cool.

The walker in its natural habitat. Looking lonely because its mates up there on the bookshelf had already been dismantled -- a fate which befell it soon after this picture was taken.

Coolio! I like to look at other people's mechs. I am not a savy mech maker, but I think this is really good! |

This is great. Is kinda similar to my Cosmic Stryder ( http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/49623). Very cool shape and well-coordinated colors. Love the lights and weapons. Seems to me if it doesn't have wheels, it has to be piloted, not driven. |

This reminds me of the walker from Ratchet: Deadlocked, except more streamlined. This is really cool.
BTW Did you make any instructions before you completely dismantled it? if you did can i get emailed a copy? |

I think the correct word is "driven", but I'm not completely sure. Plus, this is a great MOC. |

This is an excellent creation, and a great use of an incredibly chunky piece. I just might have to try something like this.... |

Despite your misgivings, I really like this MOC. The colour scheme is one that is rarely used in MOCs and it works really well. I like the whole 'chunkyness' of the walker and it appears to have a real functionality to it.
I've used a similar colour scheme in my desert peacekeepers craft on my page...overall, Awell built articulate vehicle. nice work. ;) |
