Taking back the D&L micro scale title, one small MOC at a time.
About this creation
Featuring: a Heavy Multi-Purpose Helicopter and an Amphibious Assault LCAC (Landing Craft Air Cushion).
The Heavy Multi-Purpose Helicopter was designed by DeutscheCopter with input from both the Baltic Navy and the Armies of the Baltic Union. The Navy wanted something with long range and a long flight time, capable of Anti-Submarine warfare by carrying a powerful array of sensors and torpedo-racks to be able to combat submarines out at sea. The Armies requested a helicopter with equal range, but also the capability to carry heavy loads.

So, with both input, the ASW/Heavy lift HMPH was born. So far, the Heer has ordered 100 to replace its aging CH-53s, and the Navy has ordered 86, 22 to replace the aging Westland Sea Kings, and 64 to outfit all of the Cruisers and Destroyers in the Navy.

The LCAC was designed for the Marines, as a way of getting them form ship to shore in a hurry. The fully militarized hovercraft can carry many loads, from 2 MBTs to 6 trucks to numerous marines, from the LPD or Assault ship to the shore.

How does this sound?
"Nation: United Arabic Nations of Mesopotamia (UASM), New Mesopotamia
Lands: Syria, Iraq, Mesopotamian regions
Preferred colour: Orange
Background: In the later months of 2016, the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party was overthrown by the Syrian Socialist Nationalist Party, with their ever-present dream of a Syrian nation-state. This nation-state would encompass Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, the Palestinian Territories, Israel, Cyprus, Kuwait, Sinai, south-eastern Turkey and south-western Iran. As of 2021, negotiations provided place for Iraq and Lebanon within the new nation, while negotiations with Cyprus began in 2027. The UANM continually attempted to contact Cypriot government, due to early prototype testing of magnetic acceleration technology. Within ten years, Cyprus is still reluctant to join, and things are becoming restless. Offering military protection is tricky, as Cyprus wishes to remain as neutral as possible… With militant countries on all sides, New Mesopotamia must take in Cyprus and their tech if they wish to remain safe."
Good enough? I hope to start on creations as of tomorrow... Any feedback/constructive criticism would be great.

Hi, Tom. I ended up here after following numerous links, and I must first ask: may I join your group, Conquest and Consequence? I have also asked Awe, and he approves of my requests-- Syria being reserved, as I wish to have it, and I have asked for Iraq and Saudi Arabia too--Cyprus is currently negotiating with the Arab Union.
I was also wondering whether I had to stick with current government and military trade with the Russians, or whether I can have my own turn on things... is this possible?
Many thanks, Omikron |

Quoting Cuttlefish .
Hullo Tom! One of the members from your Conquest and Consequence group told me to ask you about this:
Are the three MOCs on my page enough to be considered "Modern Military?" I just got out of my dark ages, and wanted to start on a clean slate, so I deleted everything but three.
Well, I'd appreciate if you could get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks! =)
I am afraid the apocolypse MOCs cannot qualify. I would be happy to accept you into the group, but you must have other MOCs first. |

Interesting use of the micro scale, as usual. Was the hovercraft inspired by the boats used in Normandy on D-day? The resemblance does not pass unseen. |

Wow, I really like this! That chopper reminds me slightly of the Sea King, although I'm not quite sure why. |
