In the high mountains of Virginia, a lone Crimson Freedom soldier meets his end.
About this creation
We heard about regular patrols going on in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia, and sent out our Spy Master to investigate. He tracked his targets for days, finally finding their main base and watching it from a high cliff, sending data feeds back to us day and night for several weeks. Suddenly we heard shots fired, and wondering what it was demanded an immediate update on his situation. All we got in return was a picture from his head-set of a Crimson Freedom corpse with "Mild Inconvenience" written on it.
-End Report.
Now on to pics! First up is a view from the Spy Master's position, about to take out an enemy target:
And finally an overhead shot, just because I felt like taking another pic!
4th wall break time! All in all I'm very happy with this build, it took about 30 minuted to make and fine tune, and the lighting was perfect outside to get some good quality shots of the set up! Also, as a little challenge, see if you can spot a little green frog in any of the pics! Long live the Legion!!

Well built, Commander Savage! The rockwork is convincing, the backstory is nice, the landscaping is great- no flaw except for the small pictures.
Thanks, glad you like it:) |

Ah, the cleverly concealed frog monitoring device -- nearly as effective as 1st Indiana's deadly exploding snapping turtle (dang, now I've gotta figure out a way to make that). Nice quick build and battle. Forward to the sound of the guns!
Yup, frogs are indeed quite effective in 9 out of 10 combat situations! (The tenth involving birds or overly large fish.) I'm glad you like it, and an exploding turtle I've GOTTA see!

Nicely done, good use of ninja and imperial guard headgear, love the combo
Thank you, those two are probably some of my favorite combos:) |

I did spot the frog. And he is under cover almost as well as your soldier! Well done. Loyal to the Legion!
Yeah, at first I debated putting my Spy Master in cammo, until I remembered, he's part ninja! Also the little frog is my favorite last minute Easter Egg I've ever done, for no apparent reason:D I'm glad you like it, long live the Legion! |

Commander Savage. Stealth. Nice theme for any battle. I notice a sudden trend towards smaller MOCs in the battle. Interesting. This is well photographed. A few more details might have gone a long way. A map, a radio, maybe two guards talking. It just seems very very minimal. Like you could have gone farther, but held yourself back. Attack!
It's true that it is fairly minimal, but at the same time I didn't want it to be overly complex because I wanted to just represent a single soldier about to get taken out, and I think it communicates that fairly well! I'm glad that you think the photographs are good! |

Very good job Commander. I'm not sure is 1vs1 soldier battle any kinf of war, maybe jsut smaller confilct, but you have still done a nice job. Thumbs up!
Well this is supposed to be a smaller part of a large conflict, focusing on one specialized soldier in the ongoing war against Crimson Freedom:) I'm glad you like it:) |
