First off this is quite the destructive weapon of war. Second, people are talking about recoil and system aswell as means of stability but we have seem to missed a bigger and important question, size. I know this is micro scale but how micro or is not even micro?

It seems that you guys have lotsa questions about this. Well to clear things up, I agree about the recoil of the gun being too big...heres it works: - There are a series of engines on the underside of the PDP to counter the recoil (Awe's Idea :D ) At the same time, there are generators groundside that would project gravity beam on the PDP as it fires, preventing the recoil from knocking the PDP out of orbit. Notice that I used the words ''planetary defence platform instead of 'orbital defence platform'. The PDP is able to deploy groundside and even on asteroids for a fully mobile and versatile defence platform. Nope...its the name of Thor's hammer:D Yeah...ive still got problems with my photo editor program :P Oops...forgot that part :P Its actually a big Gauss/ Coilgun. Woah...Thanks for the comment :D

I'm COP, but this is a win.

Well actually, if that huge gun is a Gauss cannon, he's got nothing to worry about. Magnetic acceleration, no recoil. Just pointing that out, since he doesn't say what kind of gun it is.

Very awesome, but the recoil of that gun will knock the platform out of orbit, and down to the planet. You'd be better off having it fixed in one position opposite of a set of engines to counter the recoil, and use sets of smaller engines to aim the entire platform.

This makes me so very happy.

No photo edit? I was looking for it, since you do a good job with the edits. Nicely done platform. I like how you put the gun on a gimble so the entire station doesn't have to move in order to aim, but how does it counter balance the recoil? At an angle like that, it would send the station tumbling? Well, don't mind me, very nicely done! ^Blub^

Nice big platform, compliment the PDL platforms quite well.
