WOW WOW WOW!!!! Thats a very big ship and i like it very much because how bigger the model how more details you can put in. But its gone get alsow a big price stack on it. This model gone hit the first place in my top 5 list of best models of the year.

Really admire the strength & resolve of someone like yourself, to build an MOC on this scale. It's also nice to have a supportive family to be there for us. Love your work; it's going to be a great build.

First of all. Your big ships are one of the reasons why I joined mocpages, Iīm thrilled to see a new one from you. I couldn't help but notice your discussion with mr. Kelso about making the hull less "bricky". I had the same problem with my ships and found out that the whole deck could be built sideways. Iīm new to the pages, I build in LDD and I donīt have your experience... quoting mr. Kelso "just thinkinīout loud".

my fiancee buys most of the pieces for me and takes a lot of interest in them which helps alot,not rich but have a bit of time,have built this collection up over a lot of years moslty the last 4 years.

i have tried different ways of building the hullsbut i always come back to this way,every brick fits together nothing balancing or layed on top of each other,the whole hull is one piece,if i use the plates sideways its hard to get the deck to fit.maybe lego will bring something out to make it easier,standing next to these you dont notice the transitions as much as you do on a photo with them being as big as they are.

yes it does there megabloks connectors,not too tight a fit to make it easier to move about,all my ships have the same connectors and they work well on them,i can dimantle the superstructure move the hulls and build back up in about an hour aslong as someone is there to help,sections maybe too long at 9ft down to 4ft,

Does the construction joint (second last photo) have a connection across it to join both sides?

Looking terrific! I wonder if there might be a technique to offset the bricks in the hull for a smoother visual transition as the curve from the keel moves back? Each transition point is one stud wider than the next, and an offset approach would make those transitions half a stud. Just thinking out loud. Anyway, it's looking amazing - keep up the great work!

You are amazing! Are you one of those super-rich eccentrics with a tonna $ & even more time? Where do you find the time and $ to build these monuments!
