Working Structure Fire
Fire and rescue call. Working structure fire 765 Plate Ave.
About this creation
The pumper is quickly dispatched to the residence in question. Upon arrival, they notice the building is self ventilating through the roof with flames showing. As one firefighter hooks the LDH to the hydrant, another stretches the 1 3/4" inch attack line. As they do, a woman opens a second story window and begins calling for help. Another firefighter is ordered to grab the ladder while the recently arrived ambulance crew readies the stretcher.

Now we get a look at how bad the fire is. There is extension into all rooms of the structure. The individual is trapped and interior operations are extremely dangerous due to the house being recently built using light weight construction methods.

The lady was successfully rescued, but regretfully, the house was a total write off.

The ribbon is for winning first place in the scene category at the county fair.
