The Lockheed Vega 5B is most famously recognized as the plane Amelia Earhart flew when she became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. It is now displayed inside the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. This plane is modeled after the Vega and features a rotatable propeller. This is at a smaller scale than one suited for minifigures, since the Vega 5B is designed to carry six people. This version 2.0 is a complete redesign from our popular original design - overall, it is sleeker, sturdier and features an eye-catching tan stripe down the body. It is also significantly lighter, allowing you to more easily swoosh the plane around.
We sell complete kits of this model at www.ichibantoys.com. The kit includes all of the brand-new official LEGOŽ parts needed packaged in polybags, plus a full-colour instruction ebook on CD.
