Here's the next in my Star Wars vehicles-as-mecha idea: Boba Fett's Mech I! I tried a different finger/hand design for this inspired by Chris Roach and a million other mech builders. The ankle/lower leg design was inspired by alot of the Gundams of Mithryl Dlarix. The biggest challenge of this build (besides making it look awesome) was to try and build it so that it looked like both Boba Fett AND Slave I. Luckily for me, Boba's armor is roughly the same color scheme as his ship. I definately developed some new techniques with this that you'll see in future builds. I'll just lets the pics do the rest of the talking, now. As always, please RATE and COMMENT:)

I'm really just messing with you. I made new versions of Jango and Boba to make them look cool, and then posted them on MOCpages. They even made it to the most popular on my page. I even looked before posting to see if anyone did the same and saw I was the first to make Boba look like Boba that was Purist. Sarcasm and accents on word don't work very well when typed. And it's more fun to not say you aren't joking to see if the person you are talking to gets its just a joke. So yeah, with the exception of the grey anteanna, how dare you use my Boba Fett Minifig!
Oh I gotcha. I guess great minds think alike! |

RE:MCLegoboy... switch to decaf. Like Moodswim said all he (and you) did was mix a few Boba minifigs together. It's not like it would deserve 20+ likes for that. Pay more attention to the mech. |

Seeing this makes me think of a joke... "Boba Fett vs. the Sarlacc! One night only!" Very awesome, and I thought the fig was good enough (set minifig) but you had to give him a mech. Only problem I see is that his jetpack is blue, like Jango Fett, but who cares because this is awesome.
Thanks! Actually, if you check any images from sites like Wookieepedia or elsewhere, you'll see that Boba Fett DOES have a dark blue jetpack, despite the fact that it doesn't match the rest of his outfit. |

Nice. Wait a minute! That Boba looks very familiar. Minus the anteana color. Why would you say designs are inspired by these people and then make a minifigure like that with no credit! This is messed up. Why am I even still talking? You don't deserve my rant. That mech is still pretty cool though. I guess you've earned another 5/5 from me. But I'm still not happy about that fig. I glare at you. Maybe I shouldn't be yelling so much. I guess it is just a coincidence that you tryied to make your Boba Fett more awesome than the set version. I should probably stop talking now. My comment is going to have an issue posting if I don't stop. Whatever.
Er..what? All I did to make the fig was take the arms and legs from the Fett fig from the Cloud City set (yes I do own it) and combined it with the Boba from the new Slave I set. Not sure what you're rambling on about... |

Thanks! It doesn't transform. The idea of this build and the rest in the series is to show both the mech and the vehicle simultaneously rather than have one turn into the other. |

It's a great mech, but maybe there are too much colors (the yellow is unnecessary)... Anyway, since it's not supposed to be a Boba Fett large-scale replica, I won't bother you about accuracy of colors. The feet are great, the wrists are good too, but my favorite part is the transparent cockpit. 5/5. |
