The A.F.A.A.C. was developed by StarTron, a growing manufacturing and design company based in the outer rim, where Fleebnork problems persisted despite efforts by the Eastern Block and Iron Reich for many years to assist the public (and possibly win their loyalty). On several occasions, colonies had to be nuked from orbit to secure an infestation. StarTron saw an opportunity and put their design teams to a task of designing a fast-response hovercraft that could be cleared for civilian use. Through much deliberation and ruined workshops, the design teams developed a low yield anti-Fleebnork devise that could thwart the critters carapace. It created a Meson shockwave that would go under the Fleebnork's carapace to take out the creature within. The system was mounted on a type IV hovercraft and sold to local militias. Unfortunately, the Iron Reich took notice and came in to incorporate the company and its assets; they had need of new ideas for Strikecraft. StarTron resisted, and ended up holding them off long enough for the Iron Reich to make concessions. A treaty was signed, and StarTron could keep its independence if they made their facilities at the Iron Reich’s disposal, and incorporate Iron Reich officials into their bureaucracy. The result was a newly named company called BlackTron...

The side view. I wanted the color scheme to reflect its role as a civilian, but still armed craft.

3/4 view. I kind of like the hollow wings, it gives it a lighter "feel" I think.

I came up with the StarTron/BlackTron storyline to explain its use of trans' green.
