Argin was a normal ta matoran mask maker on metru nui, until one day, the makuta saw his mask making skills and kidnapped him. A makuta scientist injected him with shadow leeches, and turned him into a makuta. He quickly moved up in the ranks, and became one of the best warriors. He was once sent to kill a toa of stone with a Kualsi, and as he was battling, the toa accidentally activated his mask and teleported the two to Bara Magna. The Argin's mask made his armor lighter and he killed the toa. Then he started wandering around the desert for weeks, until metus met him. he was invited to become a glatorian, and happily accepted, knowing any life was better than wandering arounf in the desert. Once again, he quickly moved up the ranks and became vulcanus' best glatorian.
