Al Khazneh
Built for Hong Kong Animation Festival ACGHK 2011 Lego architect contest - the classic film by my puzzle. It is unknown as to why Al Khazneh was originally built, probably between 100 BC and AD 200. Its Arabic name Treasury derives from one legend that bandits or pirates hid their loot in a stone urn high on the second level. Significant damage from bullets can be seen on the urn. Local lore attributes this to Bedouins, who are said to have shot at the urn in hopes of breaking it open and spilling out the "treasure" within (the decorative urn, however, is solid sandstone). Another is that it functioned as a treasury of the Egyptian Pharaoh of the time of Moses (Khaznet Far'oun). Many of the building's architectural details have eroded away during the two thousand years since it was carved and sculpted from the cliff. The sculptures are thought to be those of various mythological figures associated with the afterlife. by Wiki.

Your an amazing builder, the scale is quite impressive actually. I watched the doco on the Khazneh, and I thought you might find it interesting that it was built as a place for sacraments. Great builds, keep it up :)

This is a perfect recreation of The Temple from The Last Crusade. I really like the detailing. The use of jar jar heads in the wall is fantastic. The whole exterior is amazing. Every portion has amazing detail, and is exact to the movie. *Batman voice-I'm watching you!* ;) Once again, great creation.

When I first saw this, my only thought was "wow" (for good reason I see). There is such a wealth of detail that it is difficult to choose one particular part to admire (one must admire the whole because every detail leads to another and another, etc.). Perhaps my two absolute favorite decorations are the use of the Jar-Jar heads and the columns on the ground level. This MOC is a superb and terrific build! I can't wait to see what you do next!
