Mission 8 of the 457th Corps RPG: Endowment upon Manaan.
About this creation

Lieutenant Chaser and Raptor Squad

Well, the favour I owed Commander Fox has definitely been paid-off. Raptor Squad and I have helped the Courascant Guard out quite a bit in the last few weeks but now it is time to prepare for our next mission.

I have upgraded my armour, Hotshot has finally found a Rocket Launcher and Kicker and Snatcher have been trained to use DC-15As effectively in combat. My 3 new squad members- Rusty, Kye and Ace- seem like good men but we will see...

Name: CT-03-2011 "Chaser"
Rank: Lieutenant
Weapons of Choice: DC-15S blaster
Legion: 89th
History:

CT-03-2011 was part of the 200,000 troopers from the 457th Corps to take part in the Battle of Geonosis. He survived the battle and was moved in to the 89th Legion within the 457th Corps. He was nicknamed 'Chaser' after his determination to reach his target- no matter what it is or how long it would take to reach.

Chaser participated in campaigns on Bakura, Bal'demnic and Rhen Var before being sent back to Kamino for further training. During this time he learned how to use the Slicer tool and how to wield a Vibro-Knife.

After his training Chaser was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was assigned a squad of 3 Clones Troopers who became the founding troopers of Raptor Squad. Following several successful operations on Nar Shaddaa, Cularin and Gand he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and put in command of 6 Clone Troopers.

Mission 8- Endowment upon Manaan

Mission Briefing: Manaan may be considered a prodigious system. It might have been disregarded against the Confederacy of Independent Systems if it were not for itís peculiar elixirs. Kolto - Magic healing juice. Manaan is the only place where the panacea occurs in the galaxy. Being acknowledged as a necessity to organics and those who often suffer in combat, the system may be found as s bold target for CIS warlords. A series of unusual attacks on the systemís facilities have moved the Ahto Civil Authority movements to be fairly overwhelmed. Although the Grand Army of the Republic gave its own offer to allegiance, the High Court has been fairly reluctant upon opening its doors to a Republic occupation of the system. Even so, a temporary strike force of the elite corps has been issued to retake general control over the system of Manaan. However, recent encounters of Confederate war droids upon the unexplored regions of the systemsí surface have moved the native Selkath to aid in our own operations to prevent an impending invasion. We may be set at a disadvantage though, judging as how the majority of land stationed on Manaan has been deemed unexplored and uncivilized, which leaves massive territories to Confederate occupation. Jedi Master Tsui Choi has been assigned exclusive services to attend in our attempt to contain order on the system. Manaan is a unique system, and the only known planet in the galaxy that may harvest vital medical supplies. The entire Grand Army of the Republic will be counting on this assault. May the Force be with us.

Mission 8.1- Hunting the Hunters

Mission Briefing: The arrival of sentient species deep within unknown territory had aroused Killik Spiritual Assassins residing within thin yet condensed hives in the ruins of their social Rakatan Empire, long before the ultimate flood. They had not been awakened for thousands of generations, considering how the species had not been found since their disappearance from Alderaan. The species was considered extinct, and the return may fill a gap between the civil relations of many former planets belonging to the Infinite Empire. Attempt to break through their hive and arrest the majority of the species as you break them from their aquatic world to the LAAT/a Aquatic Gunships making their way to the base of the cavern. The species is specialized in assassinations and will most likely not cooperate well.

Manaan- a world of water. My squad was assigned to hunt down the Killik Spiritual Assassins living in a huge cavern and who hadn't been bothered for generations. That changed.

I left Rusty, Kye and Ace to help try and rescue Lieutenant Ginn and took my more experienced troops (who are working under the name Plesiosaur Team) into the cavern. As we made our way into the closest cave we encountered one- and it wasn't happy.

Snatcher was closest to it and attempted to make contact but as soon as I saw the pile of bones by the cave entrance I fired- these are not creatures who will surrender peacefully.

Mission 8.2- The end of Alpha Squad

Mission Briefing: Moving back into the unexplored regions of the oceans of Manaan, the Laborious has moved into position with an effort to provide support from the surface of the oceanic waters, a platoon of Droid Saboteurs are in route to intervene with our 89th legion pinned down at the floor of the cavern. The Laborious had broken through the planetary blockade in order to deploy a special branch of aquatic marines, Alpha Squadron. They have already been ordered to evacuate the Hrakert collection facility as soon as the Kolto has been extracted, but the saboteur strike team outnumbers the clones three to one. The battledroids will easily overpower them in they havenít already escaped by the time theyíre reached. Aid Alpha Squadron in the firefight between the cavern within the Hrakert Rift, allowing the stress to be upheaved away from the rest of the 89th.

The 89th Legion was in desperate need of assistance from incoming MAAT Gunships as they were being attacked by squads of Jedi Killers.

To make matters worse, Alpha Squadron- an elite team of Scuba Troopers- was pinned-down by platoons of Droid Saboteurs- nasty little buggers.

Plesiosaur Team and I made our way to the endangered team and helped them out. We stopped all the droids, but didn't manage to save much of Alpha Squadron.

Mission 8.3- Searching the Rubble

Mission Briefing: A Separatist have deployed a CIS HMP bomber armed with a Nuclear Proton Bomb to decimate Ahto City, which was directed to drop above the efforts of the 316th Legion. However, Republic Arsenal has shot down the transport, and it has crashed into the ocean, landing just outside the walls of the Hrakert Rift. According to energy levels following the missile, it is highly believed that the bomb has not detonated, and it now resides on the ocean floor amidst the wreckage of the destroyed Heavy Missile Platform. The bomb is currently active, and any hostility shown toward it purposefully or not, will be the cause of mass destruction. Accompany a Recovery Unit and attempt to locate the bomb, and deactivate it before it explodes. However, separatists have sent a squad of LM-432 'Muckracker' Crab Droids, programmed to suicidally activate the bomb. Uncover the explosive carefully from under the debris, and while the recovery squad attempt to deactivate it, assist them by defending against the oncoming wave of droids.

A droid bomber en route to Ahto City had crashed into the ocean. The only problem was it had been carrying a Nuclear Proton Bomb and the bomb was still active.

My team arrived on the scene and split up to destroy suicidal Crab Droids intent on detonating the bomb. I stayed behind with the Bomb Squad and the Alpha Squad team member that we rescued. Since his squad were all killed he was discussing possibly joining Raptor Squad. Then his plans were blown apart along with him- a crab droid was responsible.

I've taken care of the droid and the Bomb Squad have stopped searching through the rubble because they have found the bomb. I can't wait to be back on dry land.

Quoting swash buckler Nice vig there- lego should make few scubatroopers really now when they appear in the show when it starts again....
Some Scuba Troopers would be cool, but not in a battlepack because you don't really need that many.

Quoting commander fix1028 Very cool! You're lucky you got to go underwater, my squad got stuck in Ahto City the entire time. Anyway, good job!
Thanks, I would have rather stayed in the city as a don't have a lot of parts for underwater builds.
Quoting Kyle Brown ??? I don't understand the part where the clones look as if they were shooting him. Are they underwater? I like it though: good lighting, pictures and moc!
The ARF trooper is being shot by a Crab Droid. It says that in the mission log. Thanks.

Quoting Ben Cossy Sweet vigs :D Since they are underwater, I feel you should have added some fish, Some of them looked a bit like they weren't underwater. Still, excellent work!
Thank you for being a good friend Ben. I think fish would have been a good add on but I don't really have any to use.
