A re-engineered version of the original Grind Wagon. The Mk.II uses many new techniques, and thus it's a lot smoother and better . . . IMO anyway. . .
About this creation
The roof remains at the same low height :) I had to use the '374' because that was the only part that I could use for that section, and I didn't want to pull off the brand new sticker. It looks kinda cool though?
Retains the open airbox for the straight 6. The body doesn't sit quite as low as the original, but thats probably a good thing!
I love the way that the grey pin stripe flows over the car. Note the areodynamic what-nots on the side skirts behind the front wheel. On boxy cars, every bit counts ;)
I really like the way the front turned out! It would be really good if I had chrome parts to replace the grey parts.
Fun Fact: This is my first MOC that doesn't have visible exhausts, they're tucked under the car.
As usual, adjustable suspension. I can make it way higher than this, but it looks silly like that.
Finishing off with a photo of both versions for a 'coolness comparison' n_n
Anyway, I like this version a lot more than the original, and these photos just don't do it justice.
Amazing job, great detail at such a small scale. This is an amazing car, and it's a station wagon too, my favorite type of car, their just so practical! Overall it looks really good. I have made a wagon too, although it is not tiny turbos scale.
