I eventually had the time to put here the new, best pictures of my ship, Britannia, because the old ones were pretty bad.
HMS Britannia, a british brig patrolling the Atlantic seas.
THIS IS AN HISTORICAL RECREATION
For those who are not familiar with brigs (from Wikipedia):
A brig is a sailing vessel with two square-rigged masts. During the Age of Sail, brigs were seen as fast and manoeuvrable and were used as both naval warships and merchant vessels. They were especially popular in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Brigs fell out of use with the arrival of the steam ship because they required a relatively large crew for their small size and were difficult to sail into the wind. In the narrow technical field of sailing rigs, a brig is distinct from a three-masted ship by virtue of only having two masts.
In the next few day I will add a new MOC, a portuguese carrack, so stay watchful!
Cool, I love makeing old sailing ships but not many people do. Could you please check mine out, It's just a litle swoop I made out of the imperial flagship set. I wanted to see how small a ship I could make...
its so pretty and a nice little ship. i like the pictures, its a really good enviroment you did shoot in. ps, at the last picture, it looks like its sailing on the water (whicth i think you should try, i tried it once with my grim reaper. lets just say, it looked like a black deathly submarine)
