Tobduk: The Master Assassin
MY FIRST TITAN!!!! Did I mention that he is a canon Bionicle Character?
About this creation
Tobduk's Theme: Burst of Frustration

Name: Tobduk
Species: Toa/Matoran
Gender: Male
Kanohi: Kanohi Sanok, Mask of Accuraccy
Element: None
Affiliation: Senior Assassin for The Order of Mata-Nui
Titles: Toa, Assassin, Sir Tobduk
Tools/Weapons: Staff of Power, Twin Daggers
Powers: Even though Tobduk has no elemental powers, he can fire almost any type of elemental energy in a powerful beam from his staff. However, he has to do lots of reaserch in order to perform these spells.

Quick Story Backround, taken from his Bionicle Wiki page.

Sometime after 80,000 years ago, Tobduk resided on an unnamed island that was later renamed Visorak. Peaceful except for Rahi threats, Tobduk's life there and everyone else's were disturbed by the arrival of Makuta Chirox. Chirox created the Visorak, and tested them on Tobduk's village on their capabilities. The hordes destroyed the village, leaving only a few, including Tobduk, to flee to Nynrah and subsequently Stelt.

Afterward, he was recruited into the Order of Mata Nui, but by then, his personality had changed greatly, and the Order renamed him "Tobduk," meaning "survivor" in the Matoran language. Since he joined the Order, it can also be known that Tobduk was experimented upon to be granted additional powers and went through training to shield his mind from telepathy.

Tobduk went onto becoming an assassin for the Order. 2,500 years ago, he became the mastermind behind the execution of all who knew the location of Artakha, after the Brotherhood's theft of the Kanohi Avohkii. This included Makuta Kojol, who at the time was on Xia. Tobduk went there and took possession of his armor-disintegrating Virus that Kojol had planned to make into a weapon and used it to kill him. Also, during an unknown time, Tobduk also provided information and carvings to Helryx so she could write an atlas, which would be named BIONICLE World.

Five years ago, Tobduk was involved in the training of Mazeka by battling with the Matoran. In the present, Mazeka attempted to sneak into Daxia and find Helryx for information about Karda Nui's location, he found Tobduk in her place. Tobduk offered Mazeka the knowledge of Karda Nui's location if he would accompany him on a hunt, which Mazeka agreed to. They then went to Destral and ambushed Makuta Tridax, using the armor-disintegrating Virus once more. This destroyed Tridax's armor, and Tobduk used his staff to incinerate his Antidermis essence, killing him.

Tobduk then told Mazeka if he wanted his information, he would come with, commenting if whether he killed Vezon. He later exited the Matoran Universe and is now living on Spherus Magna.

Oh, you can just feel his power! ;)

He can do some pretty awesome poses.

Close-Up of his EPIC torso design! There's waist articulation and...
HEARTLIGHTS FTW!!!!

See? What'd I tell ya? Waist Articulation!

Back veiw! Oh, and credit goes to Rashzakea for the 'You-Know-What' Plate. :P

Close Up of his back. The torso is VVEERRYY complicated.

Tobduk: Stay back or I'll have to kill you!

Frying a Skrall with cheap photoshop effects. ...I mean POWER!!!!

Tobduk: YOU... SHALL NOT-

-PAAAAASSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Twin Daggers!

Size comparison with a true Titan-Sized Bionicle, Takanuva! He's not THAT much shorter...

He can fold his arms!!!

The other Order members I've built. There is more to come!
(Oops I forgot Kronos... :P)

Tobduk: Hey! What are you doing here!? Get back to work!
Knoxus: Whoa! Hey! All right! I'm going!

Size comparison with Toa Mata Kopaka! Wait something is different about him...

Rogi: Hey! I was supposed to be next! What gives you the right!?
Tobduk: I'm bigger than you.
Rogi: Oh yeah! Please don't hurt me.

Tobduk: Time to go! You better rate well judges, or else I'll come and find you!
Me: Shush! Threatening might get us disqualified!

Before we go, compare him to the original!

Quoting Kai Heffernan (And all the other Judges)
I appriciate all of the constructive critsizm from all of the judges. As I said when I joind the contest, not to expect much from me. With my amount of pieces, I can't do very many completley custom builds. (and who ever said custom was better, right?) But anyway, I was building characters for my story, and whatever score I get will not change the fact that, this is Tobduk. Not a alternate universe, twisted-to-my-storyline Tobduk, he is a canon Bionicle character. And in my storyline, nothing but that.

First off, the colors are exactly the same as the original. Also, I posted in the group conversation about using a canon Bionicle character and I was told that only the BUILD mattered. I personally don't think it's fair that you would take off points for copying when I build him to look like the original.

I, for one, don't mind the use of an official character for the contest. If he fits the theme and has a custom build, both of which he does than I don't see a problem. He has a nice, mostly custom, build. The arms and legs seem to have lost the complexity you put into the rest of the moc. The colour scheme is ok but if you put to many more colours in there you would start losing points. 7/10.

To tell you the truth, the build is good as well as the story line and I applaud you of your ability to copy something from a picture. Unfortunately, as one of the judges here we look at many factors as build, design, fidelity to theme,ORIGINALITY, presentation, and others.... Yes, colors might have been changed but its 95 percent the same including the lifted story line. 4/10

I really hope everyone understands that he is supposed to look like the original, I didn't want him to be a carbon copy, but I wanted him to look recognizable as Tobduk. So you can't complain to me about his colors and build, because his colors are those that were used in the original and the build is way better.

Also, don't forget to post it in the group page.

Pretty good one. I would'nt sya its a titan(size alone doesn't make it a titan), but whatever. It has good color scheme, altough all these greys may make it a bit too much. The build is nice, and it has a good overall design, but I know it wasn't really built for the contest, altough it kinda fits the theme. Kinda. 6/10

Nice entry! The color scheme is nice, and the torso build is very good.He also indeed looks powerful, but the arms could use a bit more work, and he could be a bit more beefed up overall.Your score:6/10

Great entry, although the forearms look like they'd like some armor. Good luck with the judges, pal! :D

How can a MOC based off of a canon character be original? If he didn't look like a replica, then it wouldn't make much sense, now would it. Plus, if you look closely, the original has an Inika torso. My version's torso is completly custom! How is that simple?

I', scared you will loose points for using a character from the original bionicle. I hope you don't! I can see you used many different pieces although he looks similar. He's cool, and i never heard of him until now (still a noob bionicle fan from the comics and old books, BOO ME!)I don't quite like what is going on with the lower legs, but it's cool in a robotic way. Great job! should give you a 4 for copying a character for a contest, but if it weren't for a contest, 5 is what you deserve. so here, 5!
