One of two MOCs inspired by Giraffe Beetles. This mech will work in tandem with a firefighter droid (coming soon) to fight infernos. The general purpose firefighter droid deals with averages fires whereas the mech specifically attacks chemical or hazardous blazes, in which human decision making is often required. (Another difference is the droid can fly, the Mech cannot-don't ask me why!)

   Ready for action!

The long neck works in place of your old fire engines and their ladders. (They went extinct years ago)

The head's sensor array can pierce thru thick, acrid smoke haze.

Instead of water, the cannons shoot an anti-infammable compound, stored in those cheek tanks.

I'm not at all happy with the neck structure but I couldn't be bothered changing it.

My give up! (The one and ONLY time I will quote Jar Jar Binks...)

   Spacious (?) control cabin.

The door/gangplank seals and clicks shut nicely. I wasn't expecting that I can tell you!

Flightless wings-lets call these power cells then.

Both imaginative and innivotive in design. I agree with the previous review, it is really refreshing to see civillian mechs making an appearance here on MOCpages and you've got off to great start. I particularly like the fact that your rescue mech takes its design from an organic form which make it look highly versatile and unique in its abillities. Incidentally, I too have selection of Civillian mechs in my UNIMECH industries folder on my page - take a look and lrt me know your opinion.

Impressive. Not only is it refreshing to see a non-military mech design, you have managed to make it into something that I could actually see being used in the near future. Great job.
