First ever functional LEGO Travelling chess set
At least the first I've seen. Those that have ever seen a real chessboard will understand what I mean, but not how I mean it. It would definetely be better with the alphabet set but alas, I have none. To move, select horizontal colour first and vertical second.

Why did I never see this one in my mailbox!?! It's great and the right size to travel with! Now for this: THANK YOU for your compliment. I tried very hard to pack this with detail! I am still thinking of doing 3 more classrooms if I get the money to spare. A Shop Class, a English class and a beauty class or gym! Who knows? Did you like the additions of my High School Pics?

I dread the days when Dad asks me for a game of chess. But never mind that. This has come out really well. Nice techniques used to make the pieces.

It is far easier to recognize openings, checks and mates with numbers and letters, and you can even play it with blind people then! Again, that chess wouldn't fit in MY pocket.

Quoting Deus Otiosus And again, one can't hold figures, one is too thick, and none has any letters and numbers. For wich I use colours.
Numbers and letters aren't essential in playing chess; I don't play with them. This one: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/246264 can hold figures, it has 2 boards.

Then tell me where are the numbers and letters? And mine is so much thinner, that there really isn't much competition between their practicality(?).
