Just how do those rocks float? Maybe there is a lighter-than-air gas trapped inside.
About this creation
This floating rock is home to an aged sky captian. When he retired from the wild life of windstorms, pirates and excessive tariff rates, he chose to make his home on a quiet and secluded rock in the sky. Check out that windmill, when the fans turn, it raises or lowers the winch next to it.
Back of the house. Notice the porch, where the captain stands to watch sunsets and moonrises, or to plot where he is via the stars.
"Shortcut to what?" "Mushrooms!".
The Chimney. This model was a lot of fun, I built the rock portion back in March, but just finished the house portion this April.
The interior is pretty cramped, but I fit in a few nice details.
The modest fireplace, and an old navigation map is hanging on the wall. No doubt from some memorable adventure.
Here we see the Captain's bookshelf, bed, and the ladder that leads to the loft. Atop the bookshelf lies a compass, and a crystal vial containing a mysterious solution. What could it hold?
I'm especially proud of the loft, which contains a small writing desk and inkpot. Thanks again for looking, this is one of my biggest (and coolest, I might add) creations in recent memory.
If anyone remembers the minifig project I mentioned in my last MOC, I am happy to say it is pretty much complete, and will be posted soon. I'll drop a hint, you older gamer you may recognized this: "Un forastero!" Thats all for now, folks! Peace~
