Seaside sanctuary
A build inspired by an island at sea where I was, although not resembling it in the least. Sadly, for it was an incredible island of thousand salty ponds, with each of them it's own biome. One was so alive the water was plracticaly moving. There were three in a row, red, brown and green. Some had fish, some crabs, some had algae and some had larvae. And each of them in its hole in the rocks, from four metres of diametre to a few dozen centimetres. And a forest in the middle of the island. The whole thing had maybe a hundred metres of diametre. Not that accessable though.
About this creation
Well, there is another one, instead of my CYOA prologue (it seems that I am supposed to go to the sea for ten more days, and if you guys in CYOA think that's bad, I assure you, you are not alone - I am not a fan of the intense salty smell and heat and activity nor ABS' absence), another apocalypse safehouse. The quad is recycled, but that's just because I love it so much. Other parts similar to the ones from previous MOC, areoriginal builds, as you see in a closer study.

Can you find the hidden item? I will return in 11 days, and if you don't find out by then, I will reveal the secret. But it's well hidden, I assure you.

Let's start with a similar presentation - 360 spin.

Sea, tree, interesting angle...

House!

And where's Deus, there's bound to be opening features!

You have probalby guessed at first glance, and if not then, maybe at the ladder's length (oops, that's recycled too, leave me alone, I'm lazy, but at least I build, OK?!) that there's an underground section. It makes this home completely functional.

Oh, and there's a hatch down for the nuclear safe-room, as it is for the water supply and power generator. Basicaly stuff I didn't have place for. Maybe if I did it some time with a higher cliff...

No, this door was modified.

And remember the roof's reject from the former building? Well, this time it's improved! It's almost not retarded now!

In here...

Is a bed, with a lamp...

And a rope to climb up and down!

For you to see another of my brickbuilt guns...

Looking into the distance. Is that a sail?

Some roots that haven't yet been eaten off by the waves of the sea,

And a crate, that Deus hasn't seen yet. Most probably it's clothes or medicine from a sunken supply ship, but it could be a message to any survivor..?

I hope you have enjoyed looking at the creation as much as I had enjoyed building it.

Excellent MOC as usual. I love the roots in this MOC, they caught my eye at the very beginning. It bears many similarities to your home. The basement and roof are fantastic! An excellent example of playability.

A truly excellent work of art! I like the tree and how you keep peeling away things to reveal more and more detail. I always wanted a bedroom in an attic! Great job!

Quoting AA (Noname) Why are you replying in Slovenian? Or is it a different language?
It's Slovene. I was pointing out that english speaking people tend to be very arrogant, expecting everyone to speak perfect english. It was my mistake not to build the word straight from it's root, but I wasn't thinking anyone would bother correcting me if I did wrong. I like to compare it to german schools in the second world war, where everyone had to speak english, only this time they're succeeding.
Quoting Jay Rhum
Yes, I absolutely love Sanctuary, and "knowing" me, people would think I'd be happy, but as soon as my action has any real impact, I quickly prove to be more modest than you would think of me. And if I overrate my MOCs, how can I wage war on overrating itself?

Hello Deus! How are you doing? Nice MOC, particularly like the green wataer and the ammount of details you've made. Hope you're Ok about the way the MOCIES Awards were handled... I'm not sure I completely got you with your comment on Chris PHIPSON's MOC. Didn't you love your sanctury was at least nominated?!No offending guys, but; I don't know why there should be so much stories about a tree! It might be a competition to know who has the best one! Keep on the good work, Lazy God! Regards - Jerome =)

Quoting Magma ! This kind of apocalypse is actually very peaceful. Unless there are evil zombies all around.
Well, I'm trying for a paranoic feel, so there shouldn't be much danger. For now. I do feel uncomfortable looking at the ground floor... They may brake in at any given moment...

Quoting Isaiah Suko Your landscaping is nice, but that is my tree idea, (although your roots are better than mine). I posted mine first and I think that makes it my tree.
It's not even legally yours, I have midified my pillar. But if you don't belive me, you just but I will never admit it yours, as the tree in the last build was built for a week before you posted it. You have independantly thought of it though, and that's not a low chance, because it's easy to think of and good looking.

Quoting Cody G Nice work, you should bring a sketchbook to the sea so you don't forget about anything that you could build once you get home.
And that would almost be a project, no thanks. I have a sketchbook anyways, for my HoT mechanics and calculations. I never could get my time for it, ugh, curse my polite-ness!
