About this creation

This MOC was built for Ape Fights classic race teams group. This will replace my Mercedes Team becuase I was not very pleased with the detail on the MOCs and I knew I could do better. So I had a look at other racing teams and decided on this one...

The car is an Alan Mann Ford GT40, I love the GT40 abd is a car I always wanted to build. This model is 6-wide and features interior, opening doors and a opening engine bay (sort of) to reveal engine detailing, I think it is one of my best MOCs for sure.

Here are some general views of the car. I am pleased with the accuracy and detail I put into the car

Here is some information of the car and team.

Here is a view of the car with the roof and engine cover removed. Note how the engine cover is not hinged and was just balanced for the shots with the engine cover 'open'. However the engine cover is easily detachable.

Here is a picture of the car with Graham Hill (who drove the car) sig-fig, note the trademark moustache...

Wow I love it. The gt40 is one of my favs. I also really like the hill minifig. Glad you like my golf and my son's robot :).

An escort was going to be my next AM car, as well as a Falcon. The gold is from an Indiana Jones set...
