Svantetit heavy fighter
About this creation
Universal heavy fighter, made for durability and adaptability to all possible battle situations. While not very manouverable, Svantetit is capable of dogfighting, it can also pack a massive punch to smaller frigates and transports with its missiles. Heavy armor and no exposed mechanical pieces make it sturdy enough, and rear firing turret with double Maxim guns effectively disrupts enemies trying to attack from back. Unfortunately, this all makes Svantetit a ship of choice for each space pirate.

White and black colouring made photography quite hard, that's why I am using blue background. Someone suggested me to use grey background, but I am a bit too lazy to make all that photos again (and wait for decent sunlight).

Svantetit is inspired a bit by Freespace Hercules fighter, however its proportions are totally messed up. I like it though, however some people say that it is not very nice.

This is also my first model using stickers so much - but they are soo nice... In general, Exo-Force proved to be great set, with all those wedges and purely awesome new hinges.

Underside shot with landing gear retracted.

Engines (made out of those mentioned Exo-Force hinges) and little Maxim turret. It should fit microscale ships quite well, in fact :>

Cockpit is pretty typical, like in many of my ships - features joystick, red screen and few control panels.

Some photos on white background. They are nicier in general, but it is harder to spot the ship's shape on them.

I love it! It almost fits my imagination perfectly - enough room in the nose to realistically hold a radar and computers, big engines for decent space travel, and a bubble canopy. Try putting some forward-swept-wings on it, though, and it will be perfect. Think you could send me instructions? I know it might be a bit of trouble disassembling it part by part while recording it in Lego Digital Designer, but I would really appreciate it. I can provide my email upon request.

Nice fighter, you did a great job with the engine section. I also like the way you build the nose of the ship. Great work.

What a great MOC! This thing is really nice. It takes me back to Wing Commander 1 and 2. I really like the engine pods and the under-nose details. Well done!
