Originally I designed this 7-wide Ferrari at the same time I built my 7-wide Nissan Skyline GTR. Due to a lack of parts at the time, I was unable to construct this one. Thanks to a recent bricklink order and acquiring some rare parts, I was able to finish my little Dino! It is a 246 GTS, which is the targa top model and one of the last Dino body styles produced.

About this creation

Top front view. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong pieces for the windshield, so instead I had to spray-paint some flex-tube to match.

Rear view. it's difficult to see in this picture, but the reverse light is in the lower-center part of the car.

The hood is very small because the Dino had a trunk directly behind it. The transverse V6 was mounted dead-center and very low.

Interior view. Not too shabby considering I had a very small space to work in.

Targa roof on. A separate modular rear window piece is put in to hold up the roof.

Fun in the sun! Driving a classic Italian sports car!

Very nice little model! Its a shame about the parts mistake, but the inovative solution works quite fine. :) The overall shape is amazing and very accurate. Great use of parts for the air intakes and the steering is a bonus. Overall, awesome details for an awesome car. :D
