Now that we've got that horrible pun out of the way, let me talk to you about the car. But take into account that this is a silly build, so that's why the proportions are all out.

I decided to make this car after I had looked at several 8 wides on MOCpages, and then I found the yellow curved pieces that are used as the windowsils. I finally found a use for them!
The general Idea of the car was to make it look really happy, because all of my other cars either looked angry or neutral. After finding a couple of pieces from the Naboo Starfighter set, I then had the idea to make the have a Naboo Starfighter theme to it. Hense, the the paint job and the Star Wars stickers. Oh and that aerial.
The "face". IT'S SO HAPPY! I like to imagine the indicators as the car's rosey cheeks n_n
Oh, and of course, being made by me, I had to give the car a decent stance. This is my smallest ever car with camber. Next time I might try camber on a 6 wide.
Now, lets start pulling it apart shall we? If we take off the roof, we can see the interior, featuring various gauges and a steering wheel.
My favourite part of the interior are the bucket seats. I found a use for those big red curved plates as well!
The seats can fold back and forward.
Next up, engine time!
I had limited space, but I still managed to fit in a V6 with a decent amount of detail (IMO).
So I bet you're wondering where R2-D2 comes into this. Well, let me put your minds to ease.
He's been used as a subwoofer in the boot. A bit ghetto I know, but it's all just for shits 'n' giggles :)
BAM! A wild convertible appears!
The wild convertible uses drop top. It's super effective!
Ahhh, yet more puns. I apologise. You can see how low it is in this photo. But my larger scale cars are still a tad lower n_n

Haha this is a cool idea! Looks really good and some great features like the seats and engine. All it needs is a place where R2-D2 can be stored! Great creation :) |
