This is my secondary self MOC. You might know him better as Griller, but I decided to change the name. The reason that he's my secondary self MOC is because I have plans for a new self MOC. Anyways, please enjoy my new version of him.

Story: When just a Ta-Matoran Helix's small town was attacked by Makuta and his army. The Toa in his town fought bravely until reinforcements arrived. A Toa of Air rushed up to small Helix and gave him a stone while saying,"Use it well my young fellow," as he rushed Makuta himself. Their swords as little as touched before the Toa was thrown backwards into a building. Helix ran to the Toa to see if he was still alive. He found him alive, but he was dying. Helix asked,"What is this stone, oh great Toa?". He answered,"It is a Toa stone. Get out of here before Makuta finds you". That was the last Helix saw of that Toa. He later fled into the mountains and used his stone for the good of the Toa. He wished to find Makuta and kill him, but first he has to make an army of sorts. Helix eventually gathered some Toa and started a new team of Toa. The Toa Lant. They traveled through the lands and fought off the darkness. He never got his revenge on Makuta, but he helped someone else do that.

Great MoC! The overall look is very cool. The ground structure is very simple, but you added so many greebles... like on the body. Those "fingers", all the system parts, truly amazing! The upper arms and legs look very compact, and I love all the detail on his lower legs, hands and arms! And of course, the asymmetry is very nice to see here! Together with the matching color sheme, he is fantastic!

This is a really great Bionicle here, and one of the more well-constructed (secondary) self mocs out there; great job. I love the greebles all around the whole thing, and the armor and color scheme go nice with the theme. My only complaints are that the torso should have some bigger armor piece on the chest for bulk, and that the arms and legs should be about a pin length longer to match proportion with the torso. Great job! |
