A dieselpunk blimp passing by a floating rock. Next time I'll make a stand for it. Even a tripod doesn't help when the MOC is shaking... Maybe if I shook my hand identicaly to the presented object..?
About this creation
Guess I could talk now and continiue with the picture, mixing up my presentation again.
Starting with a little disclaimer - no opening features.
So, as I was having a mini-almost-kinda-two-weeks-long-dark-age, I was trying to start Heroes of Trestaria (wich is completely canceled now), building my SHIP and Pokemon: TFOL gym, I didn't have any fun doing it! That is how I realized that I'm completely incapable of building a MOC if anyone else knows about it. SHIP rescheduled to whenever I please now.
With that out of the way, my passion was reignited by dieselpunk (it's really not steampunk, as it, well, doesn't use steam power, and I really like that engine on the blimp.
But I really started with the floating rock, but it felt plain and incomplete. I didn't want to make a blimp at first, but nothing else I tried worked.
I first tried my triangular macaroni roof technique, and after a faliure, I decided to modify the ball technique, and actually in a non-retarded way!
Last thing to add is that this MOC has woven in it's design the secret of the Nazca Lines, whoever finds out what it is, gets an imaginary cheese cookie.

The ship looks like it is a bit to far forward and not centered under the blimp. Nice details on the islands thought and good effort on the blimp itself other then a little bit blocky. |

Can't see any of the pictures but the main one, which is sort of black and white, but it looks nice from what I could see. |

The care and time you put into actually making them hang beats out the mild shakiness of those couple pictures. Brilliant execution, very impressive. |

This is nice! I can't believe that you actually hung this though, I would never have the patience to do that! Good work on the airship's balloon, and I love the yellow mushroom that you have hanging off the edge of the rock. Good work! |

Awesome Deus. As long as that doesn't end up like the Titanic, I think that was a success! |

That's oniric! Love all the efforts put into the presentation, and the usage of small ropes to make it "float". Really original!
I appreciate you modesty, for the Mocies, and I hope you didn't put me into your list of people who criticize you and who think you wouldn't deserve an award... I just wanted to understand your reaction. My main page and Mocies' pictures are still down, I'm really sad about that, and did'nt spend many time on the site, these last days... I've started to make my base/dry dock for Titan, but I'm still unsatisfied. I'll do a WIP when I've got enough interesting stuffs to show. Hope you'll like it! Regards - Jérôme |

Interesting set-up. Great rock work too. I bet it was a pain to get everything lined up correctly. |

Nice landscaping and excellent vehicle! Try fixing a string to the bottom of each piece and then pulling those strings tight and weighing them down to fix the shakiness. |

nicely done, the islands of rock are awesome but i think the ropes should be more camouflaged. |

Looks great, really dig the floating rocks. Too bad about the CYOA, but hey I totally understand if doing it wasn't fun some projects just hit a wall and it's tough when people are expecting them. |
