It is when we are faced with no choice that we make the hardest choice of all - we choose to fight.
About this creation

These may not exact words of George O, but the general idea was this: the High rule everything and everybody and they try to stay on that position of authority and power. The Middle try to overthrow the High in order to improve their own status. The Low outnumber the High and the Middle (perhaps even combined), but being the Low, they do not strive to improve anything unless instructed to do so. Of course, the only one who can instruct them are the High and the Middle.

So, usually (well, always) this is what happens. The middle try to overthrow the High, but being in a position without power they can not do it themselves. The next logical step is to invite the masses - the Low. With promises of "better tomorow", better status (all that pre-election empty talk) they get the Low to fight on their side. Perhaps they even call them their equal. Now, as anyone will tell you, outnumbering someone usually means winning, or in this case, overthrowing someone.

Next step is very interesting, exceptionally true and the reason why all politicians are the same. When the Middle overthrow the High, they automatically become the High. Former High become the Middle, and the Low get shunned back to where they were - they remain being the Low.

This circle of fight for power is as old as the civilization and will die when we evolve (or de-evolve) to another form of social regime.

But, is that all there is to it?
