Armored shell (truck) and Cocoon (aa/turret)
Mission: Scrap Convoy ---Ok you two, here are your orders. We need more resources and we are running dangerously low. You two are to protect a convoy carrying scrap metal but itís not that easy. The sector is highly dangerous. Many ships and vehicles lay waste here after fights long ago. The reason so much of this metal is here is because of radiation leaks from these old crafts, the road is littered with junk, and the ground has craters from weapon explosions and falling ships. Now I know this truck is a tight squeeze but believe me, you will thank us later. On back, we attached a modify aa/ turret that we were able to steal though we did modify it with our own scrap so it will at least blend in. We added some new armor around the front and on the turret. Some of this armor will be able to survive in places of high radiation but it has its limits. Now I know the truck is built of most scrap anyways so it gives quite a good reason for this convoy. Letís just say if all parts on this thing match, then hell it wouldnít be scrap. If anything goes wrong, you have two rifles. First one is in the driverís seat and the other is strapped on the outer back of the seat. Get this done quick and clean but chances are, this wonít be quick and far from clean. Here are your orders, the convoy will start two days from now so get prepared.--- Transmission Over
About this creation

Now this is my first attempt at a vehicle with suspension. It was a really fun build and made me think hard to get it right. Iíll admit there were times I wanted just demolish this truck by many ways. I would like to thank Andrew Somers for the suspension design. Itís funny, I didnít have enough LEGO rubber bands for the style I was looking at and had to improvise by use two larger ones, which from there the forced me to build the truck with four wheels in back to work. Iím glad my PLAGUES idea uses scrap metal to make their vehicles and machines since it allows you to do some mixed colors but the colors have to be black or greyish and the ability to use many small parts for greebling. I would also like to say that this is my first serious attempt at greebling and I hope it looks good. In the beginning, this truck was much smaller and a lot thinner. It didnít seem to look so good so I started to use greebling to make it more buff and from there, it grew larger and larger. The turret above started out to be for a different moc I shall soon be posting, and it is a boat. It was meant to be an AA gun on the boat but was too large. Most of the outer of it had more pieces put on to it so that it looks like it can take heavy damage but keep the gunner protected. The cockpit/ driverís seat has a hatch on in from the top because I spent so many hours trying to build door that I gave up and seeing it had become disproportional to the rest of the vehicle, I added a great amount of armor. I hope you enjoy the truck and at the very bottom of this post is a little teaser of one of my LARGEST creations and shall post a teaser a moc for my other vehicles Iím posting (as in I will be posting new vehicles and each page will have another teaser).

Here is a quick look at the Cocoon (aa/ turret) that goes on the back.

Quoting Connor Simpson You've packed in lots of playability and made this look good at the same time, a very difficult thing to do. Great job.
Every build I make usually has playability, though it sometimes hurts the look of the moc. I do playability because I feel that when you build something( let's say a vehicle for example) and you can mess with it, you may get inspiration and/or ideas for futures mocs.

I was impressed with the cannon... and then discovered the suspension. Excellent build! This thing looks like it could deal out some serious pwnage...

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix Cool apoc truck--I particularly like the turret on this.
It's actually not a apoc truck though there are some similarities in thought. It belongs to a small side faction( guerrilla warfare style) to another faction in the UNE vs. COP war. The idea is that people are gearing up to fight against the COP but don't actually any military equipment, so they decide to salvage parts and rubble from fights to make their own style of military vehicles. The PLAGUES's philosophy explains the idea.

Corey, I was reliving the good old days and saw your question about the location of BrickWorld on Leda's post. The answer is that "BW" is held north of Chicago (proper) in a town called Wheeling, Il. It's a northern suburb of the city (about 30 miles) but most people just say "Chicago" when talking about it because it's the nearest big city. Oh, and nice truck here by the way! ~ Chris.

Quoting Ultramarine . Whoa! That looks awesome, man! Reminds me of the WWII halftrack AA variant. Keep up the great work!
Wasn't quite thinking it would like a halftrack until after more armor, it too reminded me of one. The halftrack though is my most favorite WW2 vehicles, the Sd.Kfz 222 comes in 2nd. It's odd to say this but the Germans had the most awesome and fierce vehicles in WW2. Spacemarine Frank, I didn't have a real inspiration for this vehicle, it kinda took form on its own. My intent was to try suspension for the first and use it for a military moc. But for some reason, German WW2 vehicles must have been in the back of my head secretly telling what my hands to do lol. Thank you all for the comments.
