This is a basic build on an oversize base plate. I designed it to fit with the popular modular buildings. It is a great filler piece, especially between two such buildings. Though it is a basic design, it has several unique details throughout.
About this creation
The water cooler is actually attached to the seat part of the table.
The soda machine is from a Power Miner set and really inspired me to build this piece. If you haven't yet checked out that set instructions - you should - the soda machine actually works! Put money in the slot and a can of soda comes out the bottom.
I created a unique minifig from a Prince of Persia line of products. I created it for the two minifig women on the street to gawk at.
Thanks again for the great comments. Sadly, I did destroy this creation. The city needed to grow. Though fear not, I reconstructed it into a corner construction build - I hope to have pics of the project up here soon.
The white building is a bit basic, but the amount of minifig action and other great stuff in this more than makes up for it. I love the hot dog vendor and your porta-john is very nice. Very good work. Also, on an unrelated note, to get more comments, you should try joining a few groups that you can post your creations in so that more people see them. Clearly you are a talented builder, and your stuff deserves more attention than it's getting, but people probably just aren't seeing your stuff. The Spanish Trampoline (http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/782) is a good group to get a lot of people to see stuff, and if you're a teenager, then the TFOL Private Club (http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/13672) is a fun place as well. Also, if you haven't heard, the 2011 MOColympics (http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/18033) begin September 4th if you're interested in joining them.
