What can the public expect after two amazing matches? Another elemental fighter steps up the arena, along with a slow-paced old man. Can an old body like his keep up with the speed of lightning?
«This battle will be over lightning-fast», said the grey-suited Ninja. «I agree, young man», sensei replied.
The gong sounds once again. The Lightning fighter prepares his debut attack; creating clones and making them run around his opponent.
The plan becomes obvious once he throws his metal chains, surrounding the adversary from all directions and preventing him from escaping.
«Too late, old man», said the grey Ninja, activating a powerful electric charge through the metal conductors. A deafening sound echoes and it seems Sensei is obliterated to his bones.
«Did it work?», thought the Lightning Ninja, seeing only his adversary’s hat on the floor. The public is terrified having and old man disintegrated in front of their eyes.
«Haste is enemy of perfection, young man», said Sensei, appearing from behind the weapons structure. «You were so worried about trapping me quickly that you failed to notice I wasn’t there».
Raising his staff, Sensei prepares a mighty Wind attack, defeating his opponent’s shadow clones instantly. The grey Ninja tries to pick up his chain, but…
«Don’t move. One twist and I’ll stop your heart», said Sensei. «W-when did you… H-how?», asked the Lightning Ninja. «Surrender now and I’ll tell you», said the old man. «Y-yes, please don’t kill me», he replied.
«It’s that you put too much confidence in your strength. As a matter of fact, so do I: you almost destroyed my hat», Sensei explained.
«W-why are you so worried about your hat?», asked the grey fighter, still trembling. «It was a gift from an old friend: the Emperor’s great-grandfather».
We have another winner. The Emperor approaches to officially announce Sensei as the third contestant advancing to the semi-finals.
