The Renault 4, also known as the 4L (pronounced "Quatrelle"), is a hatchback economy car produced by the French automaker Renault between 1961 and 1992. It was the first front-wheel drive family car produced by Renault.
Great design : instantly reconizable. Fantastic job for this scale. Less popular now than the VW Bettle, the Morris Mini, the Citroen 2cv or the old Fiat 500, the Reault 4L was also very popular in the past and is getting interest again. I still see old people driving around with these in the laid back area where I live in France. Good to see it in Lego
Well done, I recognized it at the first look. Very cool MOC of this European Classic. Together with the Citroen 2CV the Renault 4 was like the "French Beetle" in western Europe. It was the car everybody could afford to buy 2nd hand and it moved a whole generation of college students in the 70s and 80s in western Europe. I always smile when I see one on the streets and so I did when I saw this one. Nice details, nice brick usage - You nailed it. Great work, especially for the small 5-wide scale!
