A Shattered World
A small vig inspired by and built in the Fallout universe. The MOC started as an idea how to build cracks in a road.
About this creation
“War… war never changes. Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors learned the killing power of bone and rock, blood has been spilt in the name of everything; from God, to justice, to simple psychotic rage. In the year 2077, after millennia of armed conflict, the destructive nature of man could sustain itself no longer. The world was plunged into an apocalypse of nuclear fire and radiation. But it was not, what some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead the apocalypse was only the prologue in another bloody chapter of human history." Fallout 3 Introduction

A lone survivor is traveling along a broken road, in search of civilization or spoils. His power armour protects him from those who mean him harm, while also acting as a radiation suit.

Time, over 200 years to be exact, has covered the road with dust.

The survivor pays little attention to the damage, he has seen plenty of it.

He looks into the distance and sees flashes of light, gunfire. He senses his assistance is needed, he runs toward the skirmish.

Fourth Wall:

A simple story, thought of in five seconds, sums up a lot of the build. This is a picture of my favourite crack.

Me, Fallout style. I guess this means...

...I've added another Sig to my collection.

Builders block has me stumped on how to build that landing pad required for my series. I thought that if I ridded my head of the crack idea there would be room for landing pad ideas. I guess we'll find out.

Quoting Ahpolki Ihu Fallout, without a doupt, is one of the greatest game series ever.
I'd say so too, even though I've played only one game from the series. Still, I think Halo is better.

Quoting Joe E. What color is that road though? Is it a shade of grey or blue?
From what I understand: it is a combination of grey and blue, or bley.

Quoting Super Uber Leet Clone Commando Captain Hun-grr (New self-MOC soon!) but shouldn't you consider a gun that doesn't have the two-pod constantly flipped out?
I like rifles, they get the job done with fewer bullets. The bipod is needed to keep it steady of course, how else would I hit my target?

Nice! I like the effect of the cracks, it makes the MOC (well, yeah...). The cracks, not only does it make the MOC, but you did a good job at it too. What color is that road though? Is it a shade of grey or blue?

Why, that was nice of you. :p I don't know what nlack means either. Very cool technique indeed. Good idea. That sigfig is cool, but shouldn't you consider a gun that doesn't have the two-pod constantly flipped out?

Quoting Austin Durick cool though i feel the cracks should be nlack to make it look like the cracks go into the earth and mind looking at this http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/284731
I feel, that you should use proper grammar when 'trying' to give suggestions. Your comment looks as if an infant slammed it's fists into the keyboard a few times. The build uses a black under-layer, so the cracks ARE black. They are also deep. And I'm not even going to acknowledge that last remark. Your comment is pointless.

Cracks in the road has always been something i wanted to try in LDD (or with the real bricks, for that matter), and you did it very nicely. I especially like the different sizes of the cracks around, though the dirt seems a bit excessive and more cracks would be cool. Great job, and nice new siggy!
