About this creation

The roof comes off.

Instead of a paved entryway, there's just dead grass. Not sure what I was thinking about at the time, but I suppose it could be a mistake.

Two windows.

The back door.

The inside, with a bunch of shelves, a stairway, a counter, and a clock.

A "painting" and crates.

Close-up.

The roof, with a bar. You might notice the trans-yellow bricks under the water that serve as lighting.

The entrance to the roof.

Two miniature builds: a chair and a coat hanger.

The chair.
I was going to post this about a week ago, and I had a pretty decent backstory for this but then MOCpages made me log in again and as I hadn't uploaded for a long time I had forgot to copy/paste to a notepad document beforehand, so I lost what I wrote.
Anyhow, this is a house I worked on right after my previous spaceship was posted. I wanted a building with a sideways door so I made this. Lacking any framed windows other than some old-school red windows and a bunch of tan windows (plus a few others that wouldn't look so great), I just used parts for the windows. My favorite part of the build is the roof (I got a bunch of great 1x2 Lime Tiles from the pick-a-brick).

If it weren't for the tiles, this house would look like a TLG set. I like the sleek, studless design. Great job, I'm glad to see you're back. |

Very nice house, with a lot of nice details and interesting ideas, like the pool on the roof which lets the light come in. And a clean build too. |

Excellent creation, I love that door! But what I meant, about epic scale, would be the relation between this and the last, except the smaller in the duo would be the house. |

very nice little house! i love the color scheme, and the windows are my highlight of this piece! it s a great idea to 'frame' your window a different color, idealy though, it s best to do your windows as sub builds, check my journals 3-4 for ideas, it might inspire you to go further, faster! great work! |
