Yes, another time I downsized a LEGO® Set. I live in a 3 room apartment so my display space is limited. The downsizing gives me greater possibilities to display more pieces, so yes less is more The 32x16 plate was too large so it needed downsizing.
Note to Cyberfrank - you have no idea how I'd love to do a LARGE project but space and money are a problem, do not forget I am a disabled Teacher and on a limited budget!
I began by adding window awnings to match the one that covered the porch.
I recolored and brought the bar-b-que up to the porch, I gave the lady an icepop to enjoy. I closed off the railing of the porch. I added more flowers in the front garden, I added a refrigerator and a pizza for them to eat! I also added an end table in the living room and a post card to look at! I changed the bedroom around and added a needed bathroom (one never knows when a LEGO® minifigure has to go) and added more head room.
About this creation
For one year I will honor, remember and respect the victims of 9-11. Each of my creations will have a 9-11 memorial starting off the page. I'd like to give a big handshake, hug, kiss to all the people here on MOCpages that remembered by creating WORLD TRADE CENTER buildings done in LEGO you too honor the fallen of 9-11 GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!
I know just how you feel. Being a TFOL, parts and space are hard to come by. Just don't be afraid to scrap some older MOCs to build bigger and better things. Those of us on tight budgets can't afford to be nostalgic!
